As you walk in to the restaurant they have a sign that says wait to be seated, four of us in our group, two looking at the pies and two of us standing by the sign waiting to be seated, two guys come in the door behind us, the waitress walks right by us to the two guys and seats them, A minute later we are seated. I guess the restaurant has favorites that they take care of first and it doesn’t matter if your first in line. Food wasn’t that great, we will never go back. If...read full review
We were seated and waited 16 minutes before our waitress came back ( after serving other tables seated after us) asked if we were ready to order when I said we have been for a while. I was called rude and told she didn’t want to take our order. Now who’s being rude? That’s ok we went elsewhere where we were seated and our order taken within 4 minutes of our arrival. It was Palm Sunday after church so was surprised to get seated so quickly, maybe in 10 minutes . There were several empty tables as the first wave of customers was leaving but was sadly we waited at least an hour for our food. Some of the food was just ok but some was cold or overcooked. Don’t think I will give them a second chance. $50.00 for 3 meals was just to high for the service and quality!

Stauffer's Cafe & Pie Shoppe is a popular restaurant, known for its delicious pie varieties and pleasant staff. Even on weekdays, the place can get crowded, but parking is usually available. The menu offers options for various dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten-free items. One popular choice is the Michigan Salad. For those with service animals, the restaurant shows a clear understanding of ADA Federal Law, making it a welcoming place for all. The food was excellent & at a decent price. Several fine human beings are part of the staff, with one waitress being Terrific and going above & beyond. They offer sugar free pie choices. The meatloaf meal and hot roast beef sandwich were good, though the mashed potatoes and gravy were a downfall for some.
