“2 people for dinner around 6:15pm. Sat quickly. Bathrooms clean. ordered Crunchy NE roll, California roll, Shumai, and Crab Rangoon. everything came out in less than 5 min...still not sure if we just got super fresh food fast or someone else's wrong order they managed to resell. Both rolls were enjoyable. Shumai was greasy. Obviously frozen, fried ahead of time bc it came out too quick to be fresh and wasn't hot enough. Crab Rangoons were good. Went for round 2 of food and asked what cut of meat they used for Steak teriyaki. I was told Angus...yeah, that's the type of cow but what cut of meat? "Don't know. Maybe sirloin." This is coming from the lady who introduced herself as the shift manager. Went with chicken teriyaki and "Sicilian Pizza Rolls". I mean...any Japanese Cuisine / Sushi restaurant with Scicilian Pizza Rolls must have these on the menu for a good reason, right? Someone must've been high as a kite because they took pizza bagel bites dipped in tempura and fried them. Intriguing, but not a smart menu item here. They use all the same steamed rice for sushi as they did for our side. overcooked and unseasoned. Teriyaki chicken came as cut up chicken breast with teriyaki sauce on the side with steamed rice and a big pile of sauteed vegetables. Both our server and shift manager were very friendly but uneducated about the food they're serving. I had to repeat everything we ordered for the waiter at least once if not twice slowly. No prices on the main menu for individual plates so not sure how much you're going to pay unless you ask them to show you their handheld order-taker.“
“We stopped here on a road trip and called in advance for a reservation. Saw the impressive reviews, decided to give it a try. Glad we stopped. IT WAS THE BEST JAPANESE FOOD! Table was ready and the service was excellent too! Wish we lived in the area to go back again.“

Got items to go and it was still hot 15 minutes later when I got to a relatives house to eat. Food was so great, came back that evening for more. I had the basil fried rice with veggies and tofu. Also order yellow curry...finger lickin' good! My mother had the crab rangoon, veggies egg rolls and another relative had a shrimp and chicken entree (can not think of the name) which looked amazing. Sorry that I didn't get a picture of its glory. Coming from the west coast, this was authentic Thai cuisine flavor and we enjoyed every bite. Will definitely recommend to anyone. The server was amazing and she brought someone over to help educate me what to order with my dietary limitations. “I would say they have the best egg rolls compared to other Chinese restaurants. Their sesame chicken, mongolian beef, and hot and sour soup is pretty good compared to other restaurants also. Crab rangoon is a hit or miss.. sometime it’s fried to the point it’s stale but when it’s fried perfect it’s pretty good. I agree that their portion isn’t comparable to other restaurants but their flavors are good.“

“I really enjoy Hiro. Between all the locations in Lincoln and Omaha, this one is my favorite to go to. Service is always great and they don’t “forget” about you. Tonight was probably the best yet. Our server, Grace, was just on top of it and attentive. She even asked if we had dietary restrictions or allergies. All of our food was hot when it came out and even tastier than usual. “Tried Saru for the first time today. We ordered online for pickup. Our order was ready on time, ready to go. We got the Crunchy Roll, Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, and very berry tea. The sushi was great, very fresh. The toppings did come off on the lid of the container which was a bummer but I could easily scoop it off and put it back on top of the sushi. The gyoza and dumpling sauce was really good. The crab Rangoons are very large with a lot of filling. The tea was really good as well. Definitely recommend!!“
