First, We had to wait for 1 hour to get our food. 2nd, I ordered hyderabadi lamb biriyani where I could hardly find any lamb pieces it was literally like rice mixed with chili powder. No flavor at all.

I hadn’t gone here for 15 years and as soon as I realized they had reopened, I went with my mom and we were completely blown away! Flavor, service, atmosphere is all as good or better than I remember. This is my favorite Indian spot by far in Lincoln!!

overcooked dry meat, unseasoned, poor ingredients, old soggy rice for a high price tag. ordered the lamb korma and chicken tikka. the lamb komra only tasted like canned coconut. the chicken tikka only tasted like stale tomato sauce.

this is the biggest disappointment of a meal. $50 for 2 people and nothing is edible. they reheat old food from previous days and it’s very apparent.

how could you scam people like this? you have to know how poor your quality is. you don’t care. you just want the money. what a poor representation for our community.

Food was good, but an hour and a half passed between placing my order and getting my main dish.

An update to the previous review:

I have mistakenly eaten at Tandoor for a third time. My online order for last night was placed at 6:13 PM, with an estimated pickup time of 7:10 PM – 7:15 PM. I arrived at 7:08 PM. I finally received my food at 8:03 PM. While waiting for my food, I saw a family come in, be seated, and leave out of inattentiveness. Another couple I had seen present when I arrived remained ignored for almost the entirety of my wait.

If a rush causes operations to grind to a complete halt, it is because there is no one competent in charge to navigate the rush. Hire a manager or close up shop.

My husband and I are connoisseurs of butter chicken. We have eaten at many, many Indian food restaurants across the country and have sampled many different kinds of butter chicken. We KNOW what good butter chicken is. This cannot even deign to be called butter chicken. It is chicken onion soup. The chicken was cut into huge chunks and overcooked to the point where the edges were burnt. The literal chunks of onion were awful and inappropriate. In every single butter chicken recipe you come across, the sauce is supposed to be completely blended up smooth. Not only that, but we were given mushy rice that even my children did not want to eat. And it wasn’t even basmati rice. I quite literally had to bring my order home, and create my own blend of Indian spices to add to it in order to get it to even come close to resembling some kind of Indian food.

Please avoid this place at all costs. I don’t even know how they are staying in business. And even when I went in the place was completely dead except for two people.

Best Indian food in Lincoln. Especially the Chicken Tikka Khorma. My favorite dish from any restaurant! Rinzin (God rest his soul) and his wife are the best Indian chefs ever.

We went for a treat tonight. Local, small, FAMILY owned AND operated business Tandoor Indian Cuisine ❤️ I literally cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. All the kids, including the super duper picky ones were happy and full. If you haven't been there, you should absolutely go!

Such an amazing restaurant! Small, local and family owned! All my kids really enjoyed it. The steak, shrimp and naan were the crowd favorites but everything was delicious! Even the picky eaters left full. My 5 year old gave 169 stars.

We went to get some indian food there. We ordered aloo matar paneer and malai kofta along with some naan. Both tasted really bland. I could just taste chilli in the aloo matar paneer(really less salt). Malai Kofta was okay but not as good. Naan was also pretty chewy. Complimentary Soup was good. We liked the soup.
