I'm reluctant to give up the details of this little secret. Hawk's Nest has been a breath of fresh air for our part of town. Considering it's a sports bar, you'd expect a menu packed with fried food. That's definitely not this place. You'll find unique menu pairings with a drive to avoid the "normal". You'll quickly latch on to a favorite. Some of ours are: turkey sando, hot honey pepperoni pizza, pork butt bites, any of the bowls, a big juicy burger, cookie skillet. Expect something new every time you come in. Jason and his team are always coming up with the best concoctions. Speaking of Jason...you can just tell people enjoy working for him. Seriously rare in this industry that the wait staff truly look like they are enjoying their jobs and clearly treated well. Keno is hot, beer is cold, food is suberb, and the vibe is spot-on.

Here it is, this a great Lincoln owned place, not some Omaha infiltrator. The owner are do great creative interpretation on bar food. Quality beef patties in their burgers. The Turkey wrap is HUGE, two ladies, my advise split an order. Now the Onion rings are a must order. Last visit, I ordered the Buirria Burger, WOW, I've never had Buirria Taco, but this burger is a gateway drug.

My friends and family came here Sunday after my 3yo's birthday. Between us we had 9 children in tow. They were WONDERFUL for our group. We came in and were able to push a bunch of tables together, were waited on quickly and had friendly service. Food took a bit to come out, but they were busy and we were a BIG group. The owner/manager(?) even came by a couple times. It was just a great overall experience. They even had salad options that included more than iceberg lettuce ? as a vegetarian I super appreciated that. Their brussel sprouts were so good too!

Good service & atmosphere. "Dry rubbed" boneless wings were breaded chicken nuggets with some seasoning sprinkled on them. Do NOT recommend ordering those.

We have been ordering pizzas to go for the past couple of months and they are to die for… My favorite is the pepperoni covered with hot honey. Today my husband and I decided to come in for lunch We had Peyton as our server, she was extremely attentive, and suggested we try. Cheesy beef sandwich. We shared the sandwich with onion rings, and my tummy cannot be happier. I was even excited to see that they have Keno! This place is so close to my house. I cannot believe it’s taking me six months to dine in. I will absolutely have this in my regular rotation with my family.! (Sidenote, the daily specials look fantastic as well. I will be taking advantage of these for sure.)

Finally got the opportunity to eat here since it was the Fox. Atmosphere wise it’s what you would expect for a sports bar. Lots of tvs, a bit noisy with beer and food. Likewise, the menu is a sports bar menu with the exception of the food being a bit better than stereotypical sports bar food. The staff was friendly and the service was good.
