Always a favorite father/daughter getaway meal! We appreciate the great service The Oven always provides as well as very knowledgeable staff to assist with any menu questions or dietary needs. The environment of The Oven is also inviting and quiet to enjoy your meal and conversation to those you brought with you. Lastly, I love the menu here and have always walked away with satisfaction that we chose to visit again! Keep up the great work, and thanks for being in South Lincoln!!

What’s happened to the Oven East? We have ordered for years and lately multiple times but the food simply does not get better. The whole Tandoori chicken was tiny, always overcooked and dry. Garlic naan delivered cold and tasteless. The only consistent dish is the mulligatawna soup, The restaurant is tired, energy less, and another sad example of the Lincoln food scene.

The one here and the one in the haymarket area are always wonderful and whatever you order. You will have leftovers. Portions are very big

Placed a simple order, soup, bread and chicken pachora to go. The chicken was horribly over cooked, which is kinda of their issue. And we got no lemon for the soup, which really makes the soup, and chicken so tough that you can't cut it with my sharpest knife.

Beautiful Indian restaurant. The service was solid and we were able to eat outside on the patio. Food was relatively fast and well flavored. The soup was incredible. The main reason for 4 stars vs 5 was due to how dry and overcooked the chicken was. There were a few bites that were borderline inedible. Most places we have gone use dark meat to keep the chicken juicy.

Sadly, I think the quality of food has slipped. I've been a 20 year frequent visitor from out of town. Always enjoy chicken Bhuna and it was good. Taste of chicken tikka bread was off. My wife thought something about it just did not taste right. Slivered almonds on top of the Rice pudding were rancid and we told our waiter. While somewhat of a small point, it's an irritant that they provide so little rice and want to charge extra for a little more to go with two entrées which were served to us. Our two takeout entries had enough rice for one serving. Not to go on, but would appreciate it if you would up your game!
Very fresh and delicious food, plenty of options.

Excellent as always. Lamb Bhuna, Shrimp Pakora & Vegetable Pakora were very good. Chicken Pakora was dry this time. Service was a bit slow, there were busy but otherwise amazing.

We were just passing by the town and already had dinner somewhere. When we saw this indian restaurant we thought to drink chai there. To our surprise not only they have chai it was one of the best chai we had in a long time at a restaurant. The staff was kind and accommodating, and the ambiance was amazing. We chose to sit outside. If we get another chance to be there, we will definitely give it another try and have their food too.

Best restaurant in Lincoln. Consistently excellent food and great service. Our go-to restaurant for special events, as well as in our regular rotation.
