“This ended up as a part of our Nebraska culinary tour. And boy, did it fit in! We found the King's connection, so we both had cheese frenchies. Just as decadent as we remembered! Then we had the quintessential Amigo's dessert, crisps with cinnamon and sugar plus a cup of ice cream. Friends, even as a native I've questioned the state sign "Nebraska: The Good Life." But this forgotten dessert from our past? Well, now I know why the sign is right. Service was a tad slow, and bathroom cleanliness was below peak. But thanks for the treats from our past.“
