My husband and I were staying at the Lied Lodge during Apple Jack Festival. Sunday morning we had reservations at 9am at Timbers. We arrived about 5 minutes early and were seated right away. There were quite a few open tables still. Our waitress, Grace, was very sweet and attentive. My husband ordered the Apple Pancakes and I ordered the French Toast. My family and I are frequent visitors to the Holiday buffets and weekend brunch. The restaurant is gorgeous, with a great view, the food is alway excellent and service top notch. We noticed there’s a new menu and are very excited to try!
6 of us are at Timbers last night. Very disappointed in the food we had. I expect it to be expensive but I expect better quality of preparation. The two couples split the trout dinner. Everything was served in a sauce. Potatoes and carrots came in separate dishes swimming in their unique sauce. The trout was served in a sauce also. Flavors were generally good but the sauces were way over done. The two younger adult guests had steaks and they did not eat half of each one....
