We had a good server, good food and traditional establishment. I wouldn’t say I was wowed but our specific server was personable and the French dip was good, burgers were on par but a Cajun pasta was fairly bland for being Cajun.
Great little find while out on the road. Enjoyed peanut butter on a burger for the first time. The beef tip auggies were super good too, even more so as leftovers warmed on skewers over the campfire later that evening. Look forward to stopping in again. PS ... thanks to the waitress for warning us away from the cole slaw but still giving us a taste. It was not awful, but not great either. Probably should leave Dorothy Lynch out of that one.
My husband and I have lived in Norfolk, NE for about 7 1/2 yrs. Never been there before but heard good things about the Restaurant. Decided to go there for the first time on Valentines Day. It was a little busy but was expecting that. My husband and I were seated about 5:15 pm, about 5:30 I had to ask the bartender if we had a server cuz been waiting 15 min just to get order taken.
