We visited Michael's Sunday as we have always enjoyed the Michael's in Omaha and want to enjoy the enchiladas in Norfolk that are close to what we use to get in Omaha. We have visited the Norfolk location since Omaha's location closed. Sunday was a bad experience. The bean dip has gotten more and more watery as time has passed. WE can live with this but would pay more money for a thicker base. The biggest complaint on Sunday was the service. We sat in the booth closest to the waitress stand. We received our food and that was the last we saw our waitress. We wanted refills of our drinks but no one was available so I went to the bar and asked for refills. Our waitress came up then and said she would get the refill. As I left the bar area she asked if I would want an apron. I said I would like to have a waitress. The poor service must have been why the restaurant had so few customers on a Sunday at noon. Hope you survive so we can continue driving from Omaha to get the enchilladas but with this type of service it will be questionable if it is worth the drive.

This has to be the worst place for Mexican food ? it sat like I rock in my gut no flavor and the queso was nacho cheese not queso!!!!! At least the people were nice. I see the owner replied well sir I never gave taco bell a 4 star as they as gross instead of taking responsibility you're passing the blame maybe your place is good but when I was there is wasn't!! Sorry honest opinion

Set a reservation with a Cici(not sure how to spell it) and was told it was all good and said NOTHING about a deposit. Get there on the dot for the reservation, no clue we were coming and demands we need $75 for a shared room? The server was EXTREMELY rude when we were trying to get clarification. Told us to take our service somewhere and we did! I have ran my own restaurant and that was a horrible experience overall. Hope that server has a better night!
Always great service, friendly people and best hot wings in the state of Nebraska! Fajitas are amazing too. Been going for 20 years and always so so good. Miss the margaritas shakers tho! Those were the best!

The food is all pre-made, so everything is served quickly; this leads to a problem when you order an appetiser expecting to be able to, you know, eat it at a leisurely pace and then thirty seconds later your entrées are delivered. Who eats like that? Appetisers are a first course; don’t offer them if you’re going to immediately serve the meal. Nobody eats an appetiser and a main course at the same time. Our server vanished and then reappeared when we were about ten minutes into eating and asked if we wanted boxes and a check. No offer of drink refills or anything. In total, we’d been seated for approximately twenty minutes — no exaggeration. We took the hint, left the food, paid the check, and left.Never again. The food was what you’d expect from pre-made food that’s been sitting. We all had indigestion a few hours after. Their “famous” bean dip is watery, the lettuce is limp, and overall there was nothing notably pleasant about anything; it was just slightly below average food. There isn’t a large selection of Mexican food, just some combination plates and some a la carte items, then hamburgers and American food. There’s nothing that any of us would recommend.

Best tex mex in the state. Home of the real margarita and locally owned. Excellent staff and service.
