This sandwich shop is a true gem for anyone that decides to stop here!! I travel and have been many restaurants and I have to say these sandwiches are amongst the best I’ve ever had! Couple this with the fact that their hearts are so into what they do and this place is a WIN 10 times overrr! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a precious child and beautiful family all working in harmony to make sure this place stands out. If you read this, please go and give them a chance, I promise you will not be disappointed in any area! If you’re on the road it’s a quick stop. If you’re bored and looking for something to do, it’s a heck of an adventure! If you’re feeling down and just need something to pick you up, Mackenzie’s Snack Shack is where you want to be :) When Hippocrates said,"Let thy food be thy medicine", he was talking about Mackenzie’s Snack Shack!! Mackenzie’s has the best sandwiches in North Platte! Everything is so fresh, bread is delicious, yummy pickles, and the owners are so sweet. We eat here as much as we can!

The Snack Shack is a gem in a pile of rocks! The owners are amazing, the environment is so inviting, and the food is phenomenal.

Omg - was finally able to stop in and let me just tell you, absolutely worth the wait! Already planning a trip back! What an amazing menu and amazing service. Such an awesome atmosphere, spectacular food and such great people! They are most definitely a great addition to our town. So very proud of the hard work and dedication Mackenzie and Jose have put into their wonderful little place. Definitely 12 out 10!! Would highly recommend!

It’s more than just a snack shack. This is a fresh and unique lunch spot that offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, and hummus plates. My wife and I choose to eat plant-based and were pleased to find some options on the menu, but there is something for everyone. We had the Ace Venture sandwich and the Dilly Madison hummus plate. Both were fantastic! Everything was very fresh with great flavor. The bread was perfect and I loved the unique, crunchy chickpeas on the humus. The pickles are great as well. You can tell things are made with care here. North Platte, get out and support your local businesses! Strongly recommend!

First off, The food is really good and made with special detail and care! As an artist I see the creativity, love what she’s got going on! she caters to each individual, her and her husband make a great team! Keep it up! I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing food like always! Stopped in to get lunch from here and it’s amazing. Menu seems to always be getting added to, so there’s something new every time! Sandwiches also look very presentable and put together. Best shop in town hands down, and will always think of going here first before the chain restaurants

Love them!!!! My and I were some of their first customers before they opened. He misses the Danny DeVito sandwich though and their have it your own way salads but great food regardless!
