“The food is very fresh and made with precision. The staff is friendly and are extremely generous. My Favorites are the Mongolian beef and Szechuan Chicken with added jalapeños.....TO DIE FOR.. I've been there a few days in a row already and I'm thinking about going back tonight. I love local business that puts extra care into what they do, it reminds me of going to someone's home and eating something that was prepare with love versus a cheap buffet that may make me regret eating. Growing up with a Khmer family I have high expectations when I eat Asian food and Tempura is the only place that I will spend my money in North platte.”

“My daughter wanted to go for her birthday! It was our first time there and it was great. I don’t realize they closed at 8 but we were playing in the arcade and the owner just let us keep playing for an extra hour! They went above and beyond for my daughter and made our experience even better! Such great people!”

“Normal, authentic, non-fusion delicious Mexican food. The “original” Margaritas are fantastic. Delivered to your table in an ice filled shaker with chilled salted edge martini glass. The shaker has about 2 1/2 glasses of drink in it, so it’s ice cold as you drink it. The atmosphere is loud but fun. We sat next to a table with 6 local rancher cowboys who were holding forth with each other about their rodeo experiences. When we finished eating, we introduced ourselves and had a great visit. Excellent food and fun time.”

“Stopped in tonight to grab pizza for dinner tonight after shopping. 3 teenage boys were working, and I have to say I was so impressed with them. We were greeted nicely. They told us the specials and knew all about them. Continued to make conversation with us as they made our pizzas. I asked if they were the only ones there and they were. But things were clean, they were respectful,kind and got us in and out in 10 mins! We were impressed with them. Long time since we have seen teenagers that have good work ethics!”

“My first time eating here. Ordered the southwest runza combo meal with onion rings. The sandwich was good though I thought on the small side for $7.19. Onions rings were warm and okay. The gentleman that waited on us was patient and friendly.
The restaurant was clean and bright as was the restrooms.
They also offer $1 cones in chocolate, vanilla or twist.”

“The girl that took our order mistyped one of our drinks. When the other girl brought them out I told her that it was wrong. She was rude and said that is what was ordered. I told her again that I ordered the Georgia Peach Peach smoothie. She yanked it out of my hands. I told the first girl that the other girl was rude and she blew me off! I have never received bad service before. This is very disappointing.”

“My mom, a friend and I had the corn beef and cabbage dinner tonight. The food was great, but the service was just okay. Once we received our food and utensils, the waitress disappeared. The restaurant wasn’t super busy and our waitress didn’t check on us until we were finished with our meal. I had ordered a lemonade and had finished it. I was hoping for a refill, but the waitress never came back. So I asked another waitress for a refill. She responded very quickly. Our original server came back after we had already paid ( a different server). My mom had noticed the service so she didn’t leave a big tip.
I was also disappointed that they had no Harp or even any Irish beer. Especially on St. Patrick’s Day!

Hopefully it will be better the next time we eat at Brothers.”

“Lisa is amazing! Not only was the wedding cake she made us baked from scratch and delicious, but she decorated it beautifully-exactly how we discussed so it fit in with our Halloween wedding perfectly! I would recommend her to everyone. She is also the nicest person ever!!!”

“Upon arrival, a kind mustached man walked us to our dining table where my cousin and I would soon feast. After admiring the beautiful Asian decor, enjoying classical piano music, and watching some boxing on the conveniently located televisions, we approached the buffet area (or should I say arena). I felt like a bee in a wild flower field with the amount of delicious options to choose from. Now sitting at our beautifully upholstered booth I began shoveling copious amounts general tsos chicken, fried shrimp, fried rice, and crawfish into my pie hole. I must say, I was unaware of how to approach these small crustaceans known as crawfish. After several tik tok tutorials I was off to the races. For my third plate I encountered the grill area where a skilled chef began doing unspeakable wonders to my selection of fine meats and vegetables. Paired with delectable sushi this bowl of fresh yummy yummy truly hit the spot. By this point all my mind could think of was what mystic dessert does this fine establishment provide. I approached the ice cream machine and began filling a bowl when a small child like individual takes the reins of the machine and decides that is enough ice cream for me (he was right…thank you small human). All things considered, Kings Buffet in North Platte Nebraska has restored my faith in fine dining establishments. The friendly staff, clean environment, and welcoming charm makes this place feel like a home away from home. Thank you so much and I hope to visit again in the near future 🙏”

“We were driving through to Idaho from Michigan and stopped at this cute little diner. We absolutely loved it! The service was amazing. The ladies working were sweet and had a great sense of humor, and the breakfast was delicious! I liked that we could watch the food cook as we sat drinking our coffee. Even the other customers there were friendly. Great place to stop in. Wish we could have stopped by on the way back through. Unfortunately, we took a different route. When we travel through again next year, I have it saved on my maps! 😉”

The only issue we had was the kid taking our order, having never been there before we had a few questions about what came on specific items, he seemed very irritated about having to answer the questions and was quite rude about it, I had to call him out on it to get him to drop the attitude.”

“Sat at the bar with Number One Wife and played a game of cribbage as I sipped on a beer while Number One had a below average martini. Beware, the wine list is short. I lost the game but we both had a great Cheese Burger with all the fixings. Also we both had the side of Onion Rings which were great.”

And not just wiped down, it looked like new but was definitely the same equipment just taken care of now. I was very impressed. “I'm on a roll here in North Platte, lately! I decided to try Another Round for their ribeye steak and loaded nachos. I was NOT disappointed! Reasonably priced and it was prepared to perfection. The medium rare I asked for was just right, the steak itself was tender, juicy and had the perfect amount of sear on the outside. Worth every, single penny. The loaded nachos were just that, loaded down with toppings. I wish I had two stomachs because it was far too much for just one person, lol! A bit off the main road, but entirely worth it if you have a craving for an awesome ribeye! Will definitely be trying out their other menu items in the future!”

“Wings were great, the staff was very friendly. A lot of people are speaking so poorly about this location, we didn’t have any issues at all. It did take a little bit longer than we’d hoped to get our food, but the staff was trying hard to keep up, they had a big backlog of orders!”
