We've selected North Platte's finest Mexican eateries for you.
“Great food great prices especially if you go on Tuesday the tacos are 99c which is amazing considering McDonald's can't even do anything for a dollar anymore. The food is amazing and fresh and you can see it made in front of you. Nice authentic feel to the place, friendly staff I would definitely recommend trying it.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and fast service. Glad somewhere in this town is actually good and it's local.“
“We found this while traveling and it's just a food truck in front of the Eagles club, but boy the food is great! They worked with my wife for vegetarian variations on their menu and seemed quite creative. No one else around at lunch on a Thursday, but word will get out!“
“Looks like a former bar or cafe, so a cool layout for a Qdoba. Food was hot and fresh. Employees were busy cleaning and serving. Staff was friendly, made eye contact, even a smile! Will definitely stop again if we travel through North Platte.“
“This place was referred to me by the employees from the Hampton InnI must agree that this place was super impressive. Authentic, flavorful, great staff, reasonable price. No waiting.I highly recommend this place for any one looking for authentic Mexican food. They guy recommended the 3 amigos plate which had, steak, chicken, shrimp, rice and beans and a cheese enchilada. Super delicious“
“Food was good. Combo platters came with rice and refried beans - along with a large flour tortilla. Simply seasoned rice and beans - not too salty. The main dish items seemed freshly made and were hot. A good selection of salsas, too. Service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant dining area and kitchen were very clean. A combo plate and a drink for two came to $30. Overall, a solid choice for your standard Mexican fare.“
“Excellent place to take family or a couple for a nice evening meal. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. They have a new menu now and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of pictures and descriptions that they had in the menu that make it easier for children to order as well. Nice family atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and fast. Food came out very quickly as well.Parking: There's plenty of parking in the lot for the most part when it does get busy and crowded it can be difficult to find a parking spot and you may have to park on the south side on the street. Parking is also a little tight.Kid-friendliness: Menu for children and they are very good about making accommodations for kids in the restaurant.“
“Food, service, price and people all amazing. Being from south TX I take my Mexican food seriously. They are my go to when I want food equal to what I got from the taco stands back home. I've never had anything I didn't love and the ladies that run the front are sweet as pecan pie.“
“Living in Colorado, we don't have any Amigo's restaurants, so anytime I'm passing through Nebraska I always have to stop at an Amigo's for a cheese frenchy. If you've never had one, you owe it to yourself to try one.“
“JUST SAW THE "DEL RIOS" PART..DUNNO IF PAT CHANGED THE NAME- I ONLY KNOW IT AS LA CASITA- ON EAST 4TH STREET! The late Rachel Perez originally owned this restaurant. I believe pat now owns it (hi pat). My mother,(SANDY TORRES) sister CINDY(LINDENMUTH )and even I (KIP)a time or two found myself washing dishes. This food is what I compare EVERY SINGLE RESTRAINT/MEXICAN FOOD BY! I was a traveling seasonal sous chef for cool works and along with military service I've traveled and lived in over 18 states(several cities in some of those states) as well as three different countries (Mexico, rota spain,Okinawa japan, siganella italy)..so ive been around and had the opportunity to visit MANY mexican/Latin restaurants.Without question the best! I've only found one other restaurant that offered DEEP FRIED FLOUR TACOS here in medford Oregon....(they no longer do). Nor have I ever found another that makes their mole' like rachels..it took me over 30 yrs to reverse engineer it. I'm an early retired sous chef..so I know what I'm talking about. IF YOU EVER GET TO NORTH PLATTE OR PASS THROUGH ON I-80 YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO DETOUR/VISIT THE LA CASITA. BEST ON THE PLANET! THATS A BIG STATEMENT AND I STAND BY IT! KIP TORRES“
“Due to covid it's been awhile since I've been to Taco. My truck didn't fit through the drive-thru.. yesterday was a dine-in experience and I was overly impressed by the young man at the register.. with good communication with the kitchen my order was ready before he could give me my change.. food was excellent will definitely be returning..“
“Everything was great. I don't usually give a 5 star but this place was worth it. I go through North Platte 2 or 3 times a year. I don't know how I missed this restaurant before and at one time I had a hard time finding a good place to eat in this town. I'll be back.“
