“Don't let the nondescript exterior turn you away! Excellent setup and great food, way more than the hole in the wall Mexican joint I was expecting. Also, when the waitress suggests the medium margarita instead of the monster size that you order, you should listen to her. ?“

“Great place for authentic Mexican food! My fiance and I had lunch with our pastor and his wife (they come here regularly and recommended it). He and I both ordered the dinner special which were HUGE! The ladies ordered the Monterey. They both enjoyed it and said it was delicious. They offered chips and salsa. We then asked for queso and guac. We also had a side of their delicious green Chile sauce with the meal. Would definitely recommend if you like authentic Mexican.“

Al Pastor Burrito Smothered

“Was in this afternoon, after his normal business hours and he gladly prepared my quesadilla request of egg, cheese, veg mix, chicken, and shrimp. Was wonderful food and an interesting visit with that gentleman owner, originally from Zacatecas, MX. The good MX food here. Also a small grocery and gift area. Nice table and chair seating situation. Will absolutely return. Can dine in or take out.“

“We stop at Taco John's in McCook often when we're in town running errands. For fast food it's the best! This morning for the first time I tried a scrambler, wanting a bowl instead of a tortilla. I didn't realize there was a choice of small or large, and was happy I could get a small. It was very filling, and had so many fresh chopped onions, peppers and tomatoes to go with the eggs, bacon and potatoes. My new favorite!By the way, the newly remodeled building is VERY nice!“
