We stop at Taco John's in McCook often when we're in town running errands. For fast food it's the best! This morning for the first time I tried a scrambler, wanting a bowl instead of a tortilla. I didn't realize there was a choice of small or large, and was happy I could get a small. It was very filling, and had so many fresh chopped onions, peppers and tomatoes to go with the eggs, bacon and potatoes. My new favorite!By the way, the newly remodeled building is VERY nice!
This afternoon I walked into one of my former usually eating spot Jimmy John's in McCook Nebraska. They been open for months now. The food was always fresh, & great. But the service has always been less than par. I went in, music was on loud, & no one was in site. I sat in one of the seats my stomach by then growling for me to feed it for something like 15 minutes. This is my favorite Taco Johns. Food is always correct, and the service is always good. The restaurant is always clean. The only disappointment is that the dining room is currently closing early due to a lack of help.
