Perkins American Food Co.

Came in and was seated right away. However, 20 minutes later and having to find a waitress we finally ordered. She came back three times to get the drinks right. We have waited now for 30 minutes and no food.

The wine list was decent.

Have to compliment the place what a tremendous improvement since our last visit, was seated quickly, servers were great and attentive, food was out quickly and tasted great, it was much cleaner. Nice and cool inside, a baby chair was provided which was great. Well done 👏 hope you keep it up !

The food and prices is good. You sometimes do wait a few minutes to be placed (seems as if they experience a shortage of waiters), but the food makes up for it. I'll like going there.

Food was cold.
The hostess/manager was talking very loudly about how dirty the restaurant. Having workers clean instead of buss tables.
Kitchen staff was talking badly

We were sat and then it’s like we were forgotten about. No one ever came by our table, and after 20 minutes we ended up just leaving. There were two waiters going around to everyone, but we just sat there with our menus and no one ever came around to us. I can’t even rate the food cause we weren’t even able to order it. Loud staff in the kitchen yelling about who knows what. 1 star. Won’t be coming back.

The food is pretty basic nothing to rave about. Atmosphere was nice, ample parking, service slow and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. There were plenty of vacant booths which didn't justify the wait.

My biggest frustration is that being from out of town I checked online to get more information about Perkins and their menu. I saw multiple postings about their $4.99 breakfast special. There was no $4.99 special, it turned out to be $9.99. I don't appreciate the false advertising. Perkins needs to update their advertising.

Great place to be ignored

No one greeted us when we entered. Eventually the hostess came out and put as at a dirty booth. We had to go find her to tell her it was dirty. Someone from the back came out and told her the situation. She told him to tell us to find another place on our own. All of the booths and tables were dirty. Food and plates were everywhere. There was food on the floor and it smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty. The restaurant was not busy. Our waiter did his best but he was new. There were only two other tables when we were seated. It took the hostess a long time to help him and she just said “You’ve never had this many tables before” and laughed. The food was decent. When we left there was still food and plates on tables - the same as when we came in. The hostess was always in the back chatting with someone and not out front greeting people or helping the server. We were very disappointed. We love Perkins but this was terrible. We won’t be back to that location.

Stopped in today at 4:15 before the dinner rush. There weren’t many people in the dining room. It took us 20 minutes to have our order taken. (That was after I asked the hostess/manager to get our server.) The food took an extremely long time. The meals were not hot - like they had been sitting for a while. I asked for ketchup twice. I was finished with the meal before the server brought it. We should have followed our gut instinct and left before our order was taken. We had dinner at another Perkins earlier in the week and it was great! This Perkins, not so great.
