We were not in the mood for fast food so we landed up going to The Cedar House. Well, we definitely found a place that served "slow food". It took about 45 minutes to get our food. Service was amazing, though. The place was packed and there was live music. If you want a quiet place to eat, this isn't it when there's live music. However, with all that being said, this place is amazing ! From the decor to the food, it is top notch. Rustic and modern surroundings combined, from the huge decorative barn door to the copper tiles on the ceiling...wow ! I had a lemon blueberry mojito mocktail while waiting for our food and it was delicious ! I ordered the beef medallions with loaded mashed potatoes and my husband had the 12 oz ribeye with sautéed green beans. We were both very, very happy with our order. Meat was done exactly how we asked it to be and the sides were fantastic. Definitely worth the wait ! The Salted Caramel Lava Cake was freaking awesome ! This restaurant is located downtown and is easy to get to. We went on a Friday night and downtown wasn't busy at all. Excellent food, great service and esthetically pleasing...an excellent experience !

Went on valentines day and had a reservation that included ordering what I'd like to eat that day and when I came to my reservation they were out of everything I pre-ordered. I guess I thought that's why they took orders ahead? Also we had to show up to our reservation to be told that. Why could they have not called and let me know? It was valentines day and I made a reservation for a reason: everyone was full. Ended up eating somewhere else. Bad experience unfortunately

My wife and I stopped in for a late dinner while traveling through Nebraska. The bartender (Baila) was OUTSTANDING and the chopped salad with grilled chicken and the grilled chicken BLT was the best I've had in memory. Added an ice cold beer and can't say enough good things about our experience.

I’ve never had such an amazing dining experience anywhere else in my life. Our waitress Kayla was extremely attentive, and lovely to chat with.
We ordered a few drinks (old fashioned and a winter cocktail, Christmas cookie) and Kayla even offered me some wine tastings when I asked about the moscato and Riesling options.
BJ was the one who brought out the wine tastings and after trying them and talking about them, BJ even brought out 2 red options for me to taste. I had told him I never like red wine, but he knew exactly which 2 I should try. I was blown away, he was right! He brought out the bottles for me to see and I took some pictures. This alone was so personal and added to the wonderful experience.
The mixed drinks were made perfectly and tasted AMAZING.
Our food came pretty quickly, or maybe the time passed by fast when chatting with the friendly staff. Immediately we fell in love with both dishes, the signature cut steak was so tender and tasted amazing. The chicken with the creamy garlic sauce was out of this world. The chicken was tender and juicy and the sauce put it over the top. These dishes paired with the garlic mashed potatoes were out of this world.
Also, while the cheesecake was not made in-house, it was certainly good and not the kind you would find in the freezer isle of the grocery store. (I’m very picky about cheesecake!)
After 4 drinks, 2 entrees, and dessert, our bill was $110 before tip. It is well worth every penny.

Went here for the valentines day dinner and it was terrible. They were way over booked so they crammed 4 of us on a 2 person table. They had us order 2 days early so they could be prepared. They had a limited menu for the holiday and even though they they had us order ahead of time, they were out of one of the 3 appetizers and one of the 3 deserts. Awful experience. To spend $200 and have them be out of half of their limited menu is insane. Probably will not be returning.

We had a reservation for 8. They pushed it until 8:30. Then when we go t there at 8:30 FOR OUR PUSHED RESERVATION we were told to wait 20 more minutes. This place is a joke. They pride their selves on customer service and they have none of that. Spend the extra buck and go to the chop house. They are not worth your money

Took my family here. Pretty pricey for the caliper of food. Waitress was ok. The thing that got me was when the waitress finally did bring our bill, it was over $80 which I don’t mind paying as we ate the subpar food however they charged me for a hot water. When I asked what this was for they said it was because they had people come listen to music and lawyer and not pay for anything so they charged for water….. I explained to the young lady that we actually just ate three meals, and there was no music playing. She then went and got the manager who said that that was just their policy. I will not be returning.! However, I did tip really well because I’ve been in food service most of my life and I understand that the waitress was just doing her job.
