I made the mistake of ordering to go by walking in. The lady at the register kept ignoring me and taking phone orders. When she finally acknowledged me she told me it was going to be a while as she was taking table orders now. I patiently waited and when it was finally my took my order, She said my order she let me know it was going to take 20 to 25 minutes, Maybe longer as she had a lot of orders in front of me. We'll of course she did. I returned after 30 minutes to pick up my order. And it was a little bit of a wait still, but they finally brought it out to me.Did not even say thank you.And I just walked out. For somebody That was just passing by your little town And hope to visit soon again.I hope your service improves. Ps the rice needs improvement

We had an overnight stop in Ogallala tonight on our way from Yellowstone back to our home in Illinois, and found Golden Village while looking for a restaurant close to our hotel. The positive reviews convinced us to give it a try and we are glad we did! First, the lady and gentleman who we assumed were the owners are so very friendly from the moment you walk in. They seemed to know all of the locals, and treated us, the out-of-towners, just as warmly. And the food was fantastic. I had happy family, and my wife had Szechuan scallops, and we love them both. Also, the boiled dumplings we had as appetizers were some of the best I’ve had. If you’re in town in Ogallala, you have to check these people out. They’re the real deal.

The food was amazing, had the lemon chicken and happy family stir fry. The wontons were delicious along with the Mongolian beef.

Lunch portions were very generous, everyone loved their food. Owner visited every table to make sure they were pleased. Stopped on our drive through Nebraska but would return.
