Excellent, friendly, helpful food staff and our food was outstanding!! Spices I had never tasted before and the plating was very authentic!! We will be back!!!”

“This little hole-in-the-wall is not only staffed with very welcoming bartenders but is also one of the cleanest bars I've ever been in. Not much of a looker with brown panel walls, however, they offer everything I'm looking for when it comes to my down time. Large screen tvs, touch tunes jukebox, keno, bank shot, and 50¢ pool games. Free truck parking in the back for possibly 8-10 trucks..?”

Randy the bar tender was the nicest and sweetest person I have ever met. Put up with my bs for a few hours and gave me and eat to talk off in the mean time. And just watching her with the normal bar patrons was amazing. This girl needs a raise for sure. And thanks to her boss as well for letting me take up a corner for a little while, whole I figured out life for a moment. I'll never forget y'all out this place.”

“After our unintentionally hilarious dinner experience at Tres Margaritas, we decided dessert was necessary for emotional recovery purposes, so we went searching for ice cream.

Google led us to what appeared to be… a gas station.

At first, I honestly thought Google had finally given up on us after six weeks of road-tripping. I walked inside a little suspicious and confused, wondering if maybe the “ice cream shop” existed only spiritually. But then, tucked inside the convenience store area, there it was: a surprisingly impressive little ice cream counter with a ton of flavors.

My husband ordered the salted turtle flavor, and I got a split scoop with chocolate peanut butter and another caramel-and-chocolate flavor that I unfortunately cannot fully remember because apparently I was too busy enjoying it.

And honestly? The ice cream was excellent.

Creamy, rich, flavorful, and exactly what we needed at the end of a long day on the road. We ended up sitting in the car eating our ice cream in the gas station parking lot like two exhausted travelers who had completely surrendered to the road-trip lifestyle.

Somehow, it was perfect.

There is something wonderfully peculiar and charming about Ogallala. One minute you are having an accidental comedy routine at dinner, and the next you are discovering genuinely good ice cream hidden inside a gas station convenience store.

Road trips are weird like that.”

“The hamburgers in this store are simply amazing! As soon as it comes up, the strong fragrance of meat goes straight into the nose.

Solid weight: The double-layer meat pie is thick and juicy, which is not the kind of dry industrial assembly line meat pie at all. After a bite, the gravy bursts directly in the mouth!

Rich taste: The well-roasted bread embryo, with rich shredded cheese, sweet and sour sauce and the spicy fragrance of onions, is directly full of layers.

Perfect experience: Every bite is full of sincerity. It is super satisfying after eating. It is definitely the most addictive hamburger I have ever eaten recently! Let's talk about losing weight tomorrow, and it's over!”
