Second Chapter Brewing rocks!!!! As an avid book reader and librarian wanna be, my heart was happy with the decor and beer names. The owners have done an amazing job restoring the building back to much of its 1927 glory. Richard came and chatted, giving us a nice overview of the business’ background and beer. We shared two flights of 5 oz tasters, which allowed us to taste all but one of the beers available- so good and unique! Would definitely return next time we pass through the area!!!!

My wife and I have been to hundreds of breweries around the world and this one rates amongst the top ten! What a hidden gem in a small Midwest town! They have a variety of different styles which are all on point. The staff is so friendly, we loved our whole experience!

Out this way for my kids wrestling tournament, had to swing by and check this place out. Awesome location, the bartenders were amazing, showed us some of their old rare books from their collection. Tried 2 flights of 10 beers, not a bad one in the whole bunch. Took some to go beers and a T-shirt home, can't recommend this place enough! Amazing place and people. :)

My husband and I were visiting Ogallala from Denver. We have been to almost 100 different breweries and this brewery was one of our favorites! The atmosphere is unique and comfortable. We sat at an old library table and were surrounded by old books. The service was friendly. My husband had a flight and enjoyed all the beers. I had a cider and it was delicious. Great place!

A great local hangout and gathering place. Family friendly with NA options available. The owners (Lisa and Richard) have done a great job developing their culture over the last year-- trivia nights are a blast!

Visit this brewery. We were traveling through and noticed the spot. Admittedly, expectations were not high, but the beer was quality. After trying craft beer around the country, I was truly impressed by the craftsmanship in the middle of western Nebraska. Not an elite brewery necessarily, and for that reason I give it four stars, but absolutely worth a stop. Service was very friendly.

My wife and I visited the brewery last week. We were going to visit around 10 breweries in Colorado and decided to make Second Chapter our first stop. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable and let us sample a few as well. But I think the hazy definitely shined as well as the stout and raspberry sour. All beer ingredients are locally sourced which I thought was pretty cool. You can just taste that the brewer puts out a good product all around. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time! Kassie was helpful and informative, and we liked nearly all of the beers! The flight holders are library file drawers - the brewery is in a converted library, which is very cool!

This place is dreamy! A perfect restoration project, filled with incredible books, beer, and people. We have been to many breweries in our travels across the country, and this one can't be beaten. We stayed via Harvest Host made it even more magical.

Fantastic beer! Very friendly and attentive owners. Wife and I got to chat with the brewer. His passion for brewing shows in his beers. They were excellent. The building the owners renovated to their brewery had hints of its past use, an old library. It was fun spotting them. Definitely will be back.
