Don’t recommend, went in, took 10 min to get a single beer, then when I was done I spent an additional 10 min trying to flag the bartended so I could pay for my drink and leave, she would look directly at me, making eye contact as I tried to say I was ready to pay and she’d just turn around and go do something else, left without paying for my beer and genuinely don’t feel bad; I did my part, I TRIED to pay but got ignored so I don’t feel bad over what was probably a $2.50 drink, sure hope she didn’t expect a tip after ignoring customers and looking pissed off the entire time I was there, the bar across the street has better prices and friendlier faces, however they don’t serve food so that’s about the only thing the underpass has going for them cuz they sure aren’t winning any points with “friendliness” EDIT: this happened on Halloween night at around 7 pm

Ordered the rib eye steak, which was supposed to come with two sides for $27.50 (check the picture of the menu). Was told when it was time to pay it was $37.50.
Very cool place, but the upcharging non locals not cool.

VISITORS BEWARE!!! We chose this place due to good reviews and like visiting a local place when we're in a new town to learn more about the town itself. A patron did not disappoint us with teaching us about the area. However, we experienced a hard lesson about being taken advantage of as visitors. My husband and I wanted a couple of beers and to share a dinner. We were given a menu and chose a rib tips basket for $10. We were told two sides came with the meal and given choices. We chose fried green beens and cauliflower. We were shocked when the bill arrived and were upcharged $12.50 for the rib tips and $3.50 for each of the sides. We took the high road and paid but the deliberate deception made what would have been a nice experience STINK!

Great food and Drinks. My favorite Bartender is Samantha. She makes delicious drinks and plays the best music. She's a great shot at pool. She'll treat you right. An with the most beautiful smile. You'll sure want to keep coming back.

This bar was recommended to us by the front desk person at our hotel. Bartenders make yummy drinks, they have a moonshine sampler but the star was their NY steak with sides. If you’re stopping in Ogallala you need to go to the Underpass Bar.

Best steaks in the county! Service is really good. Bar is clean and has a lot of Husker stuff on the wall. Bar food menu but the burgers are fresh and the steak was incredible! Really good price for drinks. Highly recommend!
