This bar was recommended to us by the front desk person at our hotel. Bartenders make yummy drinks, they have a moonshine sampler but the star was their NY steak with sides. If you’re stopping in Ogallala you need to go to the Underpass Bar.

My friend and l celebrated St. Patrick’s Day at the Underpass. It was busy. The staff was great! We had someone checking in with us often. The drinks are not overly priced. They have a small kitchen/grill. The special was Corn Beef and Cabbage. It looked amazing and it was reasonably priced. We chose to order off the menu. Everything on the menu was affordable. We both had the Rib Tips. My side salad was very pretty and colorful. The Rib Tips had amazing flavor! Another table had a basket of Wings, they were huge and looked super good. The steaks they were grilling looked amazing! So if you want a drink, a good meal and a fun atmosphere, that won’t eat up your checking account, I am recommending the Underpass.
