This is one of the premier steakhouses in Omaha. The food is always incredible and service is top notch. It's expensive, but worth tearing yourself and your significant other for a special occasion. Make sure you ask for prices on the specialty items so you're not shocked when the bill arrives.

Service was great, but the food was amazing. The delmonico cooked to perfection. Also must try the cheesy hashbrown incredible.

Thought this would be a bucket list meal.

Steak was just ok, baked potato was a hard brick, and carmalized carrots were bland and droopy. Key lime pie was pretty good.

Excellent! The reason why I gave it a 4 rating for the atmosphere, is because the restaurant was noisy and we had a hard time hearing the explanations of the server. Other than that, it was great. Thank you

What a great experience. A beautiful restaurant. The service is impeccable. The food was extraordinary. Our Sever was Jared. So patient and explained the dishes and specials with great detail. I'm visiting from out of town and I was so happy to find this restaurant to take my family to. I highly recommend this dining experience.

Parking: The street parking for us was free because it was Sunday. But the street parking is all metered. Pay with the parking app.

Kid-friendliness: We had in our party an 11 year old. He had his own properly proportioned menu. He was treated like the rest of us. And he thoroughly enjoyed the food, the kid friendly desserts, and Jared was really great with him.

Given Omaha’s renowned reputation for exceptional steaks, I decided to dine at 801 Chophouse, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I ordered the New York Steak, accompanied by corn, broccoli, and béarnaise sauce. The service was impeccable, with Nick providing an outstanding first-time experience, while several other staff members ensured my water was consistently refilled, plates were cleared promptly, and my bill was delivered in a timely manner.

Regarding the food, I would not particularly recommend the broccoli, as it was rather unremarkable. However, the steak, corn, and béarnaise sauce were outstanding. I ordered the steak medium-plus, achieving the perfect level of doneness—pink but not red. The corn, suggested by Nick, was some of the best I’ve ever had. As for the béarnaise sauce, after searching extensively across the U.S. for the perfect one, 801 Chophouse is the first restaurant that truly delivered.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend 801 Chophouse to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

As i remembered the stark was perfect, cooked to perfection. Best ever . The sides orders are average : the garlic spinach has enough garlic to kill 100 vampires, the baked potato was dry even with the butter and sour cream, the steak fries were soft. The mashed potatoes are the best .

So the food is pretty good, I was confused watching the bartender rubbing a customer’s shoulders, it was really weird and off putting to say the least. I mean I would expect unprofessional things like this at an Applebees but not at 801. The service was good and our server was knowledgeable on the menu items and describing them to us. He seemed a little distracted at times but everyone has an off day now and then. All in all it was an ‘okay’ visit but for the price tag, I definitely have higher expectations. I probably will not be back because I was not wowed with any aspect. My overall hope for the visit was that I would have found a new place to take my Nebraska clients in the future.
