I've used various beans in my Jura Impressa C9. Kirkland House is what we use the past few years- Mostly making Americanas, occ espressos. Their "rockbrock" (something) I tried is more bland- ie. hot brown water. I went there to buy a coarsely ground decaf for a visitor to use in bypass doser. That one was OK, but nothing exceptional. Smelled great in there. They arent open on Monday so that was a wasted trip & they whip out the ole tablet when you pay asking for a tip which annoys me. Don't they pay their employees? Or is this such a complex science that they are highly skilled workers that arent reimbursed? Ridiculous.
I made several mistakes when submitting my online order. Shortly after submitting I got a phone call from them to check to make sure it was right since it was not my usual order. It was so great to have them check in just to make sure. They have amazing coffee and the customer service is top notch.
I went to platos closet just nearby and got back in my car to find that it wouldnt turn over. In a panic i tried to jump my car with a battery jumper. Unfortunately, it had fully died and we went to see if anyone in this place had the charger to try and charge it up.
Even with all the stress, they gave us a free (amazingggg) iced latte in this heat and also had one of their employees, Tom, hop out and jump my car. Their service is impeccable and as a former barista, I cannot tell you how above and beyond they went to help make my day just a little bit better. With his help, i was able to get to an auto shop just in the nick of time. And though my car has some hefty expenses, i find comfort in my experience today. Thank you “A hill of beans coffee” and Tom :)
Sincerely the girl whose car broke down, Veronica

These guys have such a large selection of coffee, and, the roasts are so good that I have yet to find one I don't like. Premier spot in Omaha for locally roasted coffee.

I have been a customer of Hill of Beans since 2001. Martha has done an incredible job building her brand. Excellent customer service and excellent coffee! Try Dave’s blend you won’t be disappointed!

The coffee is amazing. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The smell station is my favorite. They will grind your coffee for any brew type (regular, percolator, press...) ☕️ ❤️

Great coffee but they need to knock it off with the tipping already. They want a tip for you going into their retail store and purchasing their products. I don’t get it. It’s really tacky.

Good coffee
Today was my first time at A Hill of Beans Coffee Roasters and I was more than impressed! Friendly staff, clean, cool merch, I enjoyed smelling all the coffee beans in jars thought that was a fun touch, was offered a muffin sample (it was delicious), and best of all I tried the best coffee ever! It was a blended brown sugar and cinnamon I believe, but I truly believe it’s the best coffee and service in Omaha!
The best coffee on this side of the Mississippi.
Great coffee
