Great option for all you can eat sushi. The have a good variety of rolls and appetizers and are reasonably priced for the quality and quantity you'll receive. They are often on the busy side, but I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. Worth the trip.

I hate leaving this review because the food really isn’t that bad. The rolls are pretty good as long as you come in right after they’ve gotten a fresh shipment of ingredients, the nigiri is pretty great, but always steer clear of their ramen, curry, and teriyaki.
My main complaint and the reason I won’t come back is because the last time and tonight I got embarrassed over the food I was ordering. Last time, a male employee came over while my husband was in the bathroom to shame me for the amount of rolls and wouldn’t leave until I took at least one off. Tonight, my husband’s rolls came out, but my nigiri & hand rolls hadn’t. A male employee came over and to my face was laughing and triple checking I actually wanted the sushi I ordered with the “you know we charge for anything uneaten right?” I felt humiliated and embarrassed, but confirmed that yes, I came here to get a bunch of nigiri as an entree so could I please get it. I finally get it and they’re the size of bigger chicken nuggets so whatever.
Overall, the other people really aren’t bad, the food isn’t bad, and the building is very clean, but I don’t want to eat somewhere where I’m going to be made fun of for eating at. If you don’t want people to eat a ton of nigiri/sashimi to keep costs down then don’t do it as an all you can eat item.
If you want all you can eat sushi, go to Tokyo Sushi downtown. If you want fantastic sushi with other Asian dishes as options, I’d HIGHLY recommend Ahi Sushi Ramen and Grill on 125th and Center. Do not recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant staff will make you feel uncomfortable about ordering as much sushi as you would at Tokyo sushi. Not fulfilling the full order. than the staff will following up with “are you sure? That’s a lot of sushi”.
Like others have mentioned this issue, I wish I read the reviews before trying out again. (Had a similar issue the first time but we figured they re arranged their staff). Really wanted to like this place but their lack of personality or professionalism really is going to further drop their reviews.
I hope one day I’m wrong with this review and they come out on top with outstanding service.
Food is not the best but it’s all you can eat sushi. Anything other than the sushi is disgusting.
Thanks for the read have a blessed day.

Just gross! Will never eat at the place again. Sushi is terrible
Good pricing and good sushi. The sashimi was low quality and slimy but that was only a small part of the meal.

Let me get the good things out of the way, we came in before noon, it was quiet. We were sat immediately with drinks and our ordered appetizers from AYCE came fast.
I have been here many times, the quality of food has suffered a major decline.
I received miso soup that was entirely broth, fine, that’s the best part, but the soup was bland, 3 pieces of green onion and no tofu or mushrooms is insulting.
The shrimp curry was thinner than snot and bland.
I ordered calamari and got a pitiful amount of sauce that was enough for two rings when we were served 8. I called the young man over and he said he would get more, he never returned. Several minutes later, I asked another woman, who had to get another woman, I presume she didnt understand english? It took three people to get more sauce…
Its disappointing, we were excited when Ajisai opened, my husband did some work on the building when it was acquired. He liked the owner and how passionately he talked about getting fresh fish in land-locked Nebraska and their affiliation with Tokyo Sushi, (our favorite restaurant in omaha!) This excitement has been dulled now, as we would rather make the drive down to the Old Market at Tokyo Sushi for a more predictable and consistent quality.
We only ordered three sushi rolls, they were alright, except for one. It was almost entirely rice and cucumber, a sliver of old oxidizing avocado in each, and some shrimp.
The cherry on top, when I put my card in the book it fell out because the pocket was broken.
We left AYCE still hungry and unsatisfied, but unwilling to eat disapointing food. Such a let down.
EDIT: Can’t believe I forgot this. Every single chopstick given to us was splintered. I wish I took a picture. Massive splitners that couldn’t be fixed by running the wood against each other. Incredibly cheap. Chopsticks are inexpensive already.

A great place for a family dinner or lunch. Easy process of ordering on a form. A little robot brings you the food.
Reasonably priced. A lot of fun.

We have been here a couple of times and very much enjoyed ourselves but this last time we went we waited over 30 minutes for our sushi, the amount of time we waited is unacceptable for the quality of sushi. It wasn’t well rolled and just called apart. Normally the staff is very welcoming and polite but this gentleman that seated us and served us was very rude. Later that night after we had left we our stomach began hurting and we violently threw up.
