This looked like it was a local favorite. A lot of people knew each other and there was a lot of carry out. The food was good and came out quickly but the waitress was not the friendliest and we didn’t get water or coffee refills.
Always try your local small cafes. AJ’s does NOT disappoint. Homey atmosphere, inviting staff, and a cinnamon roll that will change your life. Come hungry, Leave planning your next trip to AJ’s
It’s been two years since we’ve been back to Omaha, so of course we had to take the kids and grandkids to AJ’s for some delicious home cooked food. Tina is still being awesome and the food is just as delicious as always. Our picky grandkids loved it so much, they cleaned every inch of their plates! They will be back soon!
