Have been here several times. Went yesterday for an early dinner and got a tab for $46.26. I got a notification this morning that the total changed to $53.72. Was a tip added? I’ll never go back for this simple fact.
UPDATE: My server apparently selected an 18% tip on the receipt without my knowledge or consent. If you go to this restaurant, please double check and take pictures of your receipt!!

We came here for lunch and had a poke bowl and their sushi lunch special. We both enjoyed our meals and felt the price was very fair for what you got. Would love to go back to try their ramen and boba because they both looked really good!

Really nice sit down Asian restaurant with an extensive menu. Modern, clean and open atmosphere. Get the Zombie roll!! It’s huge and delicious!!
We found Akarui by chance while in town for a convention. We had a few Poke bowls and some Ramen. Everything was delicious. The service was quick and attentive. We had a great meal and will go back next time we're in Omaha!
Took a very long time get out drink order after being seated. Service staff in no hurry to wait on tables. Gyozas were basic no complaints. Build your own Poké bowls were delicious. I ordered a rainbow sushi roll. The worst rainbow roll I have ever had. Fish was dried out from sitting out. The avocado was brown. Not just on the outside but all the way through it. Service staff noticed and mentioned nothing still delivered to the table. Took a very long time again to receive the bill and the waitress stood just over my shoulder looking in my purse while I pulled out cash. Very unprofessional. Gave 3 stars for good Poké, everything else was not good. EDIT: management has attempted to respond by defending the new employee who has not had proper training to be on the floor. Drinks were not delivered at separate times and server did not "linger to expedite checkout" she literally stood behind me watching over my shoulder into my pocket book then walked away and did not return to make it quick. Shame on management, this is a very sad response and attempt to justify poor service and expired food. So your telling me the sushi chef who assembled the roll can also not tell when food has sat out to long. Take this response for what it is. If you're going to visit this restaurant observe managements quality control style. I am not at fault here. I'm just honest. When we have great service I frequently leave five star reviews. I originally only posted it as 3 star instead of 1 because I am fair. Also did not complain or make a scene in public at the restaurant to not disturb or sway other occupants. Best of luck to this business and hope things can improve hence the honest review. Also I paid full price, no complaints, not leaving a review to seek anything other than allowing others in the know to know exactly what they will be experiencing when dining here.

Great date night spot. Fast service, fresh food, and the best Boba tea I've had in a long time. Rich broth, tender meat, plentiful noodles, and a variety of veg make a great bowl of ramen here. The only thing I wish would change is this: the corn should be slightly charred. It would help break the texture of the corn down a little bit while also adding a little sweet smoky pop in random bites. As it is, the corn contributes a textural oddity that takes away from the dish while adding a bit of helpful sweetness.
That's just nitpicking though. I'd become a regular here if I lived nearby.
