Stopped by because my wife seen someone coming out with a big Boba . Went inside ordered food and drinks. Food was the delicious and the drinks, really recommend this place. Really friendly staff and quick service.

During a short layover, I had the pleasure of trying the spicy ramen miso bowl and the 4-piece sushi appetizer. The ramen was comforting with rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles, while the sushi was fresh, simple and delicious.

It’s ok. We came because my friends recommended this place. When we first walked in this tall big fellow (assuming he’s the host) just gave me a weird vibe and made me super uncomfortable and gave me weird looks. He sat us down and got us our waters and he still just made me super uncomfortable giving me weird stares he would also talk to us way more than he should’ve. Other than that food was ight servers were super nice tho and kind. After leaving the tall guy was on his phone and just gave this place a weird vibe like he doesn’t fit in. He made me and my wife just super uncomfortable.3/5 food is pretty good but not the best bobas are 5/5 tho

I had a Bento Box ( B ) which is teriyaki salmon and 4 pieces of sushi ( chefs choice) … it was yummy. The teriyaki isn’t too sweet which is how I like it. It is very mild. The sushi was a generous cut plus I had a salmon roll on the side. Very nice place.

We went there for the first time for dinner and we had great time! I got poke bowl and milk tea! My boyfriend got chicken katsu and he really liked it!It was clean and kinda big space with nice atmosphere. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and nice. I would love to go back next time we come to Omaha!!
Everything was good. The waitress was nice, but she never offered any drink refills. When I asked her for a recommendation on which sake to get because I don't like sweet sake, she said she had not tried them so could not give a recommendation. I can understand not trying them but I bet she could have been trained on this or asked the bartender and came back to tell me. The sake flight wasn't too expensive so I just tried a few of them. The one, I liked I asked for a glass, she came back and said they didn't sell that one by the glass... I always thought the point of the flight is to taste your options to see which one you want to continue drinking. Overall nice place, price-wise was on par with other restaurants in this area, food was good.

It's a really cute place and the staff was super friendly. The Boba teas were delicious, but the super tall cups were... awkward/tipsy. Sushi itself was cut super thick and it was so bland. ?

My personal rule of thumb is that I try to avoid eating at the same restaurant while roaming around, and that try to squeeze in as much exploration as possible, but rules are meant to be broken when there's a good excuse. And the excuse is that Akarui is amazing
