This place was proudly vegan, not just “plant-based”. The coffee was excellent and the food was delicious. The breakfast sando was above average but not perfect. Recommend getting a cinnamon roll. Service was slow because they seemed understaffed, but wasn’t the person working’s fault.

Vegan coffee shop. Vibes are very chill. This is a small/intimate coffee shop. Its a great place to catch up with a friend and take time to disconnect! They also strive to waste as little as possible and we appreciate a business that cares about our environment.
Ordered delivery from their website while looking for vegan breakfast in Omaha. Tried the Breakfast Sandwich and Pink Donut — sandwich was a bit dry but great with hot sauce, and the donut was super tasty.

I don't have dietary restrictions, but I'd go to this vegan establishment any time. The neopolitan and vanilla latte we got here were very good. I've been to many, many small and chain coffee places, and the quality of Amateur Coffee is up there with the best. The brownie and scone were good, too - it's obvious they're vegan but tasted good to two non-vegans.
One thing you might wat to know is they only serve in reusable glass jars, and if you bring them back next time you get a discount.
Also, don't expect a giant coffee here. The specialty coffee only came in 12oz and I think the vanilla latte was 16oz, the largest offering.
Prices are similar to other small coffee shops.
There's a small parking lot around back through the alley. The shop is small and likely wouldn't often need parking for more, but if it is full, you may need to park a block away.
