I could sit all day and smell the grill yum!! Great food and friendly people! It will be missed.
Had good Italian biscuit an gravy.
Ummm! You can't beat their Homemade Italian Sausage Sandwich with Sweet Roasted Peppers!!!
Nice cozy place reasonably price good portions. Can become filled up in the early morning
Went to breakfast early Sunday morning. Amatos said they opened at 7. We got there at 6:58, open sign was on in the window but the door was locked although there was a person there....... waited until 7:05 door was still locked, but help was sitting at a table. Went to Perkins..... it was delicious. Obviously, Amatos doesn't need the business.
Love this place, food is always amazing. Started having band meetings here.
The berry and ricotta pancakes must be tried; the homemade sausage and peppers dishes must be tried.
The wait staff was very friendly but the main thing was the delicious and interesting food. They have an amusing menu with great combinations.
A cool retro spot to grab a solid breakfast!
Called at last minute for a lunch order for 30 people...Amato's managed to put it together for me in 30 mins while having a full dining room! Thanks!!! Can't wait to come for breakfast, everyone here says the pancakes are awesome!

Wonderful and very friendly people!! Food was great!! Old time atmosphere.
This is the only place we will eat breakfast when we come to Omaha. Great food, great service.
Great food at a reasonable price! Family owned and operated! Great family! My favorite...the mistake! Very tasty!
I was very impressed. I will be going back very soon.
The food was awesome. I got the Lasagna with roasted red pepper bisque soup for lunch. It was very reasonably priced and unlike any Lasagna I have ever had before. The sauce had a sweetness to it that was unexpected but very tasty.
