Love the food here! Especially the Tornado ?, the Fried Ice Cream and the three dip fried flour & corn Chips appetizer! ❤️
My husband and I ate there last night. It wasn't very busy, but I presume they are having server problems, like everywhere else. The food was fabulous - very flavorful, and inexpensive. The chicken quesadilla was loaded with chicken, onions and peppers, and plenty of gooey cheese. The beans were very unique, and better than most other restaurants. You could tell they had given thought to how to make them good. They served both regular and cilantro rice alongside. Service was attentive and prompt, and my drink was delicious. I highly recommend Andres.
Big Fan! Enjoyed everything. Taste of the meal, service and the prices.Definitely will be back. It's too bad people will complain about service with what's going on in the service industry. I own a little neighborhood bar and know how hard it is to find excellent employees. I hope bad service reviews to Andres and all restaurants fall on deaf ears and readers cut everyone some slack.
Our picky eater wolfed down the tacos. The enchiladas and guacamole were great. We're glad to have found a good Mexican place nearby.
Great restaurant. The food is great, prices are fair, service is excellent.Andrew and his team do their best despite the labor shortage to serve you with the quality and customer service we all deserve.
One of the worst restaurant experiences my family has had in a long time. I ordered two margaritas with both of them being too tart to drink. The first one was pre-made and the second the bartender made. 5 out of 5 people from the table was displeased with their food. The $20 salmon was over cooked and could barely be cut with the fork. Once the manager, who is also the busser and bartender came to our table after complaining to our server, he did not say ANYTHING once one person showed him their salmon. He literally turned around and walked away. Never came back to our table for anything or to apologize. Our server was great and apologized though! The salmon was removed from the bill along with the margaritas, but would never go back. So many better places to eat in Omaha especially Mexican restaurants!!!
The flavors shocked me. It was top notch worth coming back a few times. I loved the chorizo beef chimichanga and my wife loved the pork enchiladas. Ate it too fast to take pictures.
This was our first time at Andre's it was delicious! Never had avocado toast before but it was delicious and the steak was yummy. The fried ice cream is huge and so good.
We tried Wheatfields next door first but they close at 2pm each day due to a lack of servers. This was our fallback option. Kind of an odd experience as far as the menu and portion sizes go. The menu is pretty small (again probably due to lack of staff). We ordered the volcano nachos as an appetizer. They are very large and are reasonably priced at $10 and were okay in taste. My wife and I both ordered one enchilada. They were out of the chicken enchilada so we went with the beef. The taste was excellent but it came on the largest plate they have and was the smallest enchilada I have ever had. $3.99 is pretty crazy for how small this is.I also ordered one beef taco. This was also $3.99. I should have taken a picture because it is comical how small this taco is. Two to two and a half bites and it is gone. I wouldn't want to pay $1.50 for how small this taco is and they are charging $3.99.
We went there on a Friday night to spend our margarita night with my husband. At first we ordered margarita on the rocks and the server gave us the blended one. We just drink it and did not complain and ordered food and it takes 15-20 mins for a plate. The food was good but, the bowl of beans was cold. We ordered another margarita on the rocks it was right this time but, the server ask if we need TO GO BOX or BILL.we just ordered our second drink and planning on ordering more but, the server was rushing us so much. Hubby said bill is fine. We are finishing our food and chips. The server goes " CAN I GET THE PAYMENT " rushing level 99999So we just left and transfer to the different restaurant. And had more fun. First and last visit to Andrés.

The fried ice cream here is the best I've ever had? The drive from Des Moines was most definitely worth it. I'll be back for more!
Cockroaches. Enough said!? One crawled out of our coffee pot. Later in the meal a second scurried across the table. We killed it to show the waitress. Although I lost my appetite, we were still charged for the meal. I eat here weekly but never will again.
Seat yourself at your own risk, we waited alongside two other tables for 15 minutes without a server coming over, after that time she came over and served the table that had just walked in, and then left after we tried to call after her to get menus. Our table and the one next to us left promptly after that interaction.
it's always good, but they seemed pretty short-staffed as it took longer than usual for our stuff to come out. friendly staff as always. the volcano nachos weren't very volcanoy. this trip there I'll give them a 3/5.
So good! Huge portions at great prices!!
