Great pakoras. Requested extra spicy vindaloo and they nailed it. It was delicious and flavorful. Our server was very gracious and patient and helpful. The tikka masala was perfect.

This place is sketchy. Dark, dingy, dirty. The food was okay, but that was the only good part. There was a big wet spot on the floor with food chunks in it that was there the whole time we ate. They weren’t even busy, several staff members stood around and could have been cleaning. I won’t go back and you shouldn’t go either.

We loved it so much the first time that we went back again — and both visits were absolutely worth it!

1. Vijayawada Chicken Biryani – Excellent! Bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced and the chicken was tender and juicy. Easily one of the best biryanis we have had.

2. Rogan Josh (Goat) – Very good. Rich, aromatic curry with melt-in-the-mouth goat pieces and a perfectly balanced spice level.

3. Goat Biryani – Yum! Fragrant rice, flavorful goat and just the right amount of heat made it incredibly satisfying.

Overall, a truly delightful meal – fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Very Good

I love this place! It is my favorite of several Indian restaurants in this area. The food is always delicious and the buffet offer lots of great items to try for any newcomers! The staff are very attentive and helpful and give great recommendations.

Great, Indian food! Best in town! We got the Lamb Biryani, Papad, Babycorn 65, Dal Tadka, Mango Lassi and Garlic Naan. We’ve ordered from Astoria around 15 times in the last 2 years and it never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Indian food in Omaha.
