We went for our anniversary dinner and were very pleased. The food was excellent, the service was just right and the atmosphere was nice.
I had one of the specials and it was super. The affogato dessert is not a difficult one, but they made it better than just about any I've ever had.

Avoli is one of the best restaurants in Omaha. The wait staff are so knowledgeable on the menu and there is exceptional service to ensure the food is coursed correctly. The ambiance is perfect it’s small but not too close together or too quiet. The food is always amazing

This restaurant has amazing desserts. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to travelers. Hopefully they don't serve Joe Mosbrook who thinks restaurant workers should have picked a different carrier.
We used their back space recently for my husbands graduation party and our daughters baptism and had the most incredible experience. Lauren helped us to curate an incredible evening. The service was fantastic, the food was phenomenal and the entire night we smoother than I could have ever expected. If are ever in Omaha, this place is a must!

I lived in Europe for over a decade, traveled frequently to Italy and all over, and all I can say is nothing in Omaha so far has taken me back like Avoli Osteria.
The only inauthentic element was the service, because it was so much more attentive and kind than you'd find in Europe. Our server - I wish I'd gotten his name, but he's studying to be a pilot - was such a gem.
We ordered entirely from the seasonal/daily menu - grilled sardines, the veg of the day (asparagus) and the pasta of the day with some focaccia and olives on the side. Everything was phenomenal , but the pasta was the real standout. Just perfectly al dente but bursting with flavor.
The wine list is also great, I appreciated the nods to the Balkans, one of my favorite areas in the world, we had a Bosnian white that paired perfectly with the sardines and pasta.
No flaws, no notes, prices are fair for the quality and quantity of the food. We'll be back soon!

Avoli Osteria was a hit with my wife and I. She loves all things pasta so we finally got to check out this spot on Mother’s Day. We decided to sit on the shaded patio and it was just beautiful outside. Chad our server was fantastic, super friendly and knowledgeable about the menus. I started with the Rababaro Scura and my wife had the Marula Concerto. Both good cocktails. I started with the octopus as an appetizer. The char on it was perfect and really enjoyed the potatoes it came with as well. My wife had a Caesar which was tasty real fresh with a lighter dressing. My wife had the penne a la vodka and added the spicy sausage on recommendation from Chad. She really enjoyed it and the fresh mozzarella it came with. I had the house tagliatelle which came with a ton of meat in the sauce and the noodles were perfectly al denté. We both had leftovers to take home which they box table side for you. Overall we really enjoyed the place. Not sure there’s one dish that would make me come back but everything was just very good. And the service just made it a 5 star experience.

Definitely one of the top 20 dining establishments in Omaha overall. Service is detailed and impeccable. Nearly all of the pasta is handmade on site.
Tried a special with locally sourced morel mushrooms, and it was out of this world.
The carbonara is unquestionably the best I’ve had.

Always a romantic evening, great pasta and expertly crafted cocktails.
This is certainly the best Italian restaurant that I've tried in Omaha, and absolutely one of the best I've had anywhere in the U.S. There was not a single item that we ordered that wasn't delicious. The carpaccio, the focaccia, the carbonara, the bistecca and the tiramisu for dessert were all phenomenal. The ambiance was very nice, as well. I highly recommend it.
