Delicious Ruben’s, beer cheese, and fries! Attentive staff and a great selection on drinks. Definitely want to come back and try the Sausage Party next time!

It's probably a cool place to drink beer and that's it. Not a family place. The staff are also very not so much rude, but abrupt? Also this is not anywhere near a German type Brezel. It's just a normal pretzel that you get at American sporting events. If I would have known that I would have kept walking and found something else.

Barchen is undeniably a delightful spot, and its unique ambiance makes it a standout in the local beer garden scene. I've had the pleasure of dining here many times, and each visit has left a positive impression. While they have a couple of vegan options on their menu, I fondly recall a time when their vegan offerings were more extensive. It would be fantastic to see a return to that broader selection, as it would certainly incentivize more frequent visits from vegan patrons like myself.Similarly, I'd love to see more options for those with gluten sensitivities. While removing the bun from a burger is a workaround, it does feel a tad limiting, especially considering the price point. A more inclusive menu would undoubtedly elevate the dining experience for many. That being said, what consistently stands out at Barchen is their staff. Every interaction, from the moment I walk in, exudes warmth and hospitality. A special shoutout to bartender Ashley – their expertise, charm, and genuine passion for her craft never fail to elevate my visit. Whenever I spot Ashley behind the bar, I know I'm in for a memorable experience. In summary, Barchen offers a unique blend of ambiance, quality beverages, and exceptional staff. With a few menu enhancements, it could easily be a five-star destination. I look forward to seeing how they evolve and will certainly be back, especially when Ashley is on duty!

Always thought of this place for a great tap beer, but finally tried the burger (apparently it won an Omaha Burger contest???). WOW. It might be the best burger in Omaha! The house made sauce was delicious and the potato bun was perfect. It was $14 for the fries/burger combo, but I wasn't even mad about the price because it was SO good. Also, so many beers on tap (as well as liquor/cocktails). My favorite is the St Bernardus 12, a beautiful Belgian beer with a caramel color and 12% ABV!
