Drinks are expensive but well worth it. It’s a very nice location. The only two problems I had were that the bartenders were clearly very annoyed with anyone who wanted to order a drink. There is also some tile flooring by the booths and it hasn’t been mopped in days but likely longer. The whole floor was sticky anywhere you walked
Asked for a Boulevardier with yellow chartreuse instead of bitters and Formula Antica. Bartender used Evan Williams for the bourbon :/ . Sure Yellow Chartreuse, Formula Antica and Evan Williams said no one ever. I asked him to try it with a straw test he commented on how he is going to want to drink again and his hangover. The cocktail was undrinkable. The manager and bartender then trash talked another bartender from the local industry the entire time. The wife’s cocktail was no better. The manager and bartender then suggested to each other pop synth night on Tuesdays to get more customers in the door. Place was empty even for a Tuesday night. Sounds like the place is on the Struggle Bus-nato.

A pretty cool looking place that didn’t wow us but was pretty decent for happy hour drinks.

Worst bar ever! We walked in got greeted and said it was first come first serve. Found a round booth and sat for an hour and then after an hour got kicked out because we didn’t have a big enough party…… we were told we could sit anywhere. Talked to a manager and he said nothing. The booth next to us had 2 people and didn’t make them move. Terrible customer service won’t be going back stay away from this bar.

Our work had our holiday party here and we all had a great time. Fantastic offering of cocktails, mocktails and hard liquors. The decorating was on point for a holiday party and the appetizers and desserts were really tasty!

Last night I had some friends meet me at Barnatos for my birthday. The last time I came was around Halloween and I really enjoyed myself. The whole ambiance of the place was amazing and the pork belly fries were a hit. I literally couldn’t stop talking about this place. So of course my friends now wanted the same experience.
Last night sadly it was a completely different vibe. The server we had was very rude to us. She made us wait for a long period of time to even take our drink orders and then left the drinks at the bar and another gentleman stepped in and brought them over to us. Almost every food item we tried to order she said it was out. We were able to get cauliflower and chicken which was very tasty. However we had to ask for silverware to even eat it and the lady threw it on the table. My friend had her boyfriend come along and she the waiter rudely demanded a card on file. He handed her his card but was not expecting to have to pay for everyone’s drinks. She didn’t even ask but just charged his card. Anytime we had a question she seemed bothered and just flat out rude.
When other guest arrived she didn’t even acknowledge them. Due to this experience my friends and I are hesitant to try it out again. I get that we all have bad days, but that is definitely not how you treat people who are simply just trying to enjoy themselves and not being disrespectful to you. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

Barnato is easily one of my favorite spots for an upscale night out with great music and a cozy, intimate vibe. The cocktails are top-notch, and the live performances always set the perfect tone. The only thing I’d advise against is attending during the holiday season if you’re planning on actually seeing the stage.
The Christmas decorations are… well, let’s just say they’re “festive” to the point of blocking the view. I half expected to hear “Jingle Bells” playing instead of the band! I get it, ’tis the season, but when you can’t even see the stage because of a forest of trees and lights, it kind of kills the vibe. Maybe just a slightly smaller Christmas tree next year? Or, you know, a sleigh with a better view?
That said, I still love the place and will absolutely be back—just with lower expectations for my holiday concert experience. Keep up the great work otherwise!

My gf and I bought Halloween costumes specifically for an event there on Halloween. Tickets were $15 on their fb page. We decided to buy at the door instead. When we arrived, the door guy informed us the promoters wanted to now charge $40 per ticket to get in. So instead of paying almost $100 to go listen to music from some random djs we’ve never heard of, we went somewhere else. I know that place has expensive rent but charging people more than double the price advertised is ridiculous. Greedy promoters

I attended a concert at Barnato tonight with a group of 10, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. We paid not only for concert tickets but also an exorbitant fee for priority seating in the speak easy as advertised, which ended up costing more than the concert itself. To our shock, non-paying patrons were allowed to sit in the priority seats without any issue and ahead of us. Despite our attempts to resolve this, the manager refused to engage with us directly. We simply asked for a refund of our priority seating fee, but instead of addressing our concerns, they instructed their wait staff to tell us to email them. This lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this establishment if you value your money and time.
Came for a Dylan Schneider concert. There were about 300 people but it did not feel crowded. Was able to get drinks fairly quickly and the women's bathroom had several stalls so there often was no line.

My experience at this place was horrible. I showed up at 9pm and was told there was a two hour wait after waiting for 1.5 hours we were taken off the wait list. We notified the host and were told we would get back as soon as possible. We waited another hour and then found out from another customer the place closed 30 minutes ago. We were told by the host the manager would come speak to us… over course he never did. The customer service was ridiculous and I would not recommend this place to anyone. What a waste of time.

Came here to visit their speakeasy for halloween and joined the waitlist when we got there they told us it would be 2 hours but probably less for the wait so we joined it. We got a couple drinks left to get food as we were told we could come back and they kicked us off the waitlist. We can back and asked about it and they explained it was probably an error they would try to get us back in as soon as they could. We waited there for another hour and heard nothing. We went to ask what was going on, they had closed at midnight and did not tell us. Their website says they close at 2 am and yet they knew we were sitting there waiting. Poor service will not be getting business from our group again.
