Barrett's Barleycorn Pub & Grill is a local favorite spot with quick service and delicious food. The fried pork tenderloin sandwich is popular among locals, while the Reuben is a town favorite, and a really great Reuben sandwich was enjoyed. The pub offers a variety of bourbons and whiskeys to enjoy along with steaming hot fries and a friendly atmosphere. The only downside might be the lack of whiskey cubes, but overall, it's a great dive bar with tasty food and professional bartenders. The website is not accurate where the menu is concerned. Parking might be tight. Our server was excellent. The beef Philly on fries instead of a bun adds an unexpected bit of flavor and is that good. This place has great bar food, the staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Some nights are louder than others. It is a great sports bar and restaurant. They had 2 TVs in the basement area and put a ball game on. Really great service was received. It was a packed place. Tenderloins that were huge and looked like great burgers were seen.
