Few places can claim their customers are impressed with everythng they order. This IS one of those places. They don't skimp when it comes to the ingredients. I've ordered a lot of food here & I'm impressed every time. The drive from west Omaha is certainly worth it.

Barrett's Barleycorn Pub & Grill is a local favorite spot known for quick service and tasty food. The fried pork tenderloin sandwich remains popular among locals, while the Reuben is a standout, and a really great Reuben sandwich was enjoyed. The pub features a wide selection of bourbons and whiskeys to complement steaming hot fries, all within a friendly atmosphere. Although there might be a lack of whiskey cubes, the overall vibe is that of a great dive bar with delicious food and professional bartenders. The website may not accurately reflect the menu, and parking can be tight. The server staff is excellent, providing friendly service even during busy times.
Recent reviews highlight that the beef Philly on fries instead of a bun adds a unique flavor. Families have enjoyed meals like the shrimp po boy, which comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and Cajun sauce, praised for its perfect crunch from the fried shrimp paired with a soft bun. The atmosphere is likened to a sports stadium, and the service remains cheerful even during hectic moments. However, some recent menu changes have disappointed regulars, with the absence of fried mushrooms and homemade flour tortilla chips. Despite this, there are still plenty of fantastic options, like the Team Chicken Philly Bowl with onion petals. Barrett's Barleycorn continues to be a great sports bar and restaurant, perfect for enjoying a meal while catching a game on one of the TVs.
