This cozy place has a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The wine selection is awesome, and you are sure to find a wine to your liking and budget. If you go for the wine and other libations, you will not be disappointed. Having said that, the service on the night four of us visited was below average standard. We waited too long for service and too long between requests and waitress response. The $24 charcuterie offering was average. When we asked for crackers, the waitress seemed put off and it was a long time before seven Ritz crackers were delivered. When the service becomes a topic of conversation among your group, that is not good. I will chalk it up to a bad night and we will try once more.

Barroco is the most unassuming, amazing little spot I had no idea existed! It's located in the corner of a strip mall, but once you enter, you are completely transported to another place! It is dimly lit with candles, yet warm and welcoming. The service was friendly, and the espresso martini was amazing! I only had the one drink, but I can't wait to come back and try more of their wine and cocktail offerings.

How in the world has this beautiful gem of a place been hiding under my nose the whole time I've lived in Omaha?! Nestled in the corner of a strip of stores, I had no idea what I was missing! I met a few girlfriends here before dinner and was immediately impressed upon entering. The ambiance is absolutely stunning. Lit candelabras accented the stone walls and enhanced the feeling you were in a swanky wine cellar in a multi-millionaire's home. It's dark and dim, but still warm and welcoming at the same time. Now I now it's a wine bar, but that wasn't my groove that evening. I'm sure their wine selection is superb, however I fell in love with their cocktail options. So you don't have to love wine to go here! The espresso martini is in the running for best I've ever had. Service was attentive, timely and kind. Such a lovely place, can't wait to bring my next out of town visitor here.

Our new favorite spot! Unassuming from the outside and such a cool, moody vibe inside. Awesome craft cocktails, wine, and the service was great. We nearly forgot we were in Omaha!
We went for Happy Hour. Fun decor, pleasant and knowledgeable wait staff. We had a charcuterie board and red wine. The board was very simple but good. It would not require much to elevate it to a really, nice board. Caution: it only served 2 people comfortably.They only offered a few $6 wines for Happy Hour; the rest were full price.I saw a nice sized party room. The bathrooms are down a shared hallway (you actually need to leave the bar). They were immaculate, but for safety sake, I would advise that women go in pairs if drinking alcohol.

Well worth a visit! Great atmosphere, friendly service - so much fun for date night or with friends. Truly a special place in Omaha!
