This is my go to place for pizza. Better than most pizza places like Pizza Hut or papa John’s in my opinion. Great service and excellent pizza!! Would recommend everyone try this place out. The small business feels cozy and welcoming. The staff are friendly and overall enthusiastic. In short, a must try for all the pizza fans out there.

Our family's go to pizza parlor! My partner, she loves it...my son, he loves it...me, I love it! You should love it too!
Bernies is the current incarnation of the old restaurant that was there for 40 plus years. Landlord ended the old place. Bernies nephew picked up the torch and now they are a takeout only storefront. Great pizza very good people. The Supreme is my go to, the meatball is good, cheeseburger is an original, dessert pizza has real apples, not canned apple goo. Sadly OG Bernie just passed away. They don't advertise, or have much social media presence. Go once to support very good people and their family business and I guarantee you will return for the excellent food. Also any young social media types check them out and if you feel like I do about Bernies help them with their media presence game. We would all be better for it.

This place is the best pizza place in Omaha! Found this golden nugget and are so happy we did. We won't be going anywhere else. The pizzas are high quality and perfectly proportioned. The service is unmatched. Highly recommend! If I could give 10 stars I would. Trying the apple pie next time, they have slice the apples there! Brownies are delicious!Kid-friendliness: My toddlers gobble this pizza up like it's candy!

Some places just deserve a 5. This is one of them. Carry out only but that's ok. Just gives you more time to enjoy it without feeling rushed to leave a busy restaurant. We ordered 4 different ones for a party and meat lovers was over the top but pepperoni, supreme and cheese were great too. Crust is not cracker thin, and not thick, but a nice substantial hand tossed type. Give this place a try. It will not disappoint!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I ordered a large cheese pizza and a large meatball pizza. As the woman (the owner I assume?) was bringing me my order she told me that this was "an exceptional batch of meatballs" and described how she hand makes them from scratch. She was not exaggerating - the meatballs were exceptional! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We ordered pizza from Bernie’s last week for the first time. We ordered a small cheese and a medium sausage. The order was ready in 30 minutes. Parking was right in front of the door, business is small but clean. The girl At the front counter was very courteous and even gave me a 10% discount since it was our fist visit. Pizza was hot and tasted great!! Crust tastedHomemade and was good..my only critique was that for my personal taste I felt the crust needed a bit more salt or some kind of seasoning. Don’t get me wrong.. I ate the crust but it would bring my review up to a 5 stars if it was a bit more seasoned. My family loved the pizza and I’mSure we will be ordering Bernie’s again very soon!

We were visiting Omaha for the weekend and were trying to figure out what to have for dinner. We settled on Bernie's and we are glad we did! We had a half meatball, half Islander pizza. It was delicious! The crust is unlike any we have ever had. It's more bread like and so soft, but not floppy. We will come here again! It will be worth a 3 hour drive.

Bernie's doesn't get talked about much in Omaha, and that's unfortunate. Great pizza, from the crust and sauce to ample toppings. It may not be fancy, but it's some of the best pizza we've had in Omaha.

How can you go wrong with this delicious crust, sauce and fresh ingredients. I do miss the old sit down restraunt with Michelob on tap but it is the pizza that keeps me coming back. I will eat it in my truck, in the park or at a friend's house. A unique flavor at a fair price. When I'm in the mood for Pizza and near Millard, this is my go to place. They dint call it a tradition for no reason.
