Went in on my lunch break and waited for food only to go back to work and find that it's old and the fish was cooked poorly went back for a partial refund and the owner is a joke said there was nothing he could do. I would never go here and spend almost 30 dollars for nothing. I didn't leave anything out the owner was a jerk about giving me a refund for this awful meal. So I grabbed the tips and when I realized there was only 14 dollars I knew it wouldn't cover it. So I put them back he called the police and I stayed to tell them what happened. What an awful experience and terrible service. I wouldn't dream of returning to pay you any more of my hard earned money. (I AM GIVING YOU 48 HOURS TO REMOVE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AT THAT POINT I WILL TAKE FURTHER ACTION. IT IS MAY 24 2024.

We got a to go order. 3 pieces of fried catfish, an order of beignets with chocolate sauce, Mac and cheese with bacon, coleslaw, and some gizzards. Food is fresh made to order. We will be back! I will take pics next time.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! What more could you ask for? Had the 4p catfish & fries. WILL be back to try other menu selections. YES, the food is pricey. But, complaining about high prices at any restaurant these days...have people been living with their heads in a hole these past few years? If you don't like restaurant prices, stay at home & cook it yourself!

This is my family's first time patronizing with this restaurant. The atmosphere was off the chain with so many smiles, so friendly and knowledgeable. Sheila and Char are the Best!!! We're visiting from Arkansas and they treated us like family. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Indoor Picnic Friendly Fried Fish, Wing & Beignet New Orleansesque Parlour. Mmmmm. Crispy, spicy as in flavourful, wings with sauce choices. I like mine plain with pickles. The tartest tounge smackin pickles btw. Yum. Battered Crispy fries with dipping sauce. My crew preferred bbq & ranch. Crispy thin breaded fried Catfish fillets. Very Crispy chewy gizzards. Coleslaw was average but better than fast food. Excellent Parmesan Chicken sandwich. If you are Wing Crazy & can afford to treat it up... Get double order because they're smaller but we love them that way (in the old days that style was called Knottsberry Farm Style) packed with twice the flavor of normal wings!! ????✨ and drumroll... Those powdered sugar covered Beignets with Carmel and Chocolate! Hot. Fluffy. Layered like in France!!! C'mon. When they come out eat them right away and go back to your other food. It is a bit spendy once you add drinks and desserts and additional items... But practically everywhere is like that. It's reasonable for a combo & drink. Erica is a 10/10 star employee there! If she's not the owner (i didn't ask) she should be, because she answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions! Love people who know their food!!! Place was CLEAN at 4 to 6 when we hung out. Maybe invest in some of those see thru dark blinds as the sun drowns out some chairs/ booths. We had a Great time! 4 ADULT guests eating A LOT for $100 with soda / tea refills! Add tip well deserved! Still took home some. Enjoy! Going back to try more whole catfish, carp, other sides etc... for fun. But getting wings anyway. Won't leave without those.
Parking: SE of 96th & Lst. Entrance East on 96th. Traffic is bad here, so if you can't get in the 1st driveway, there is a second driveway. Be careful of confused drivers finding spaces in diagonal lot. We were able to park right in front of the business. Handicapped accessible.

We wanted something new and we came across this place. Biggest attraction was the fried okra for my MIL. She was a bit worried because if not cooked right cane be slimy. She got those and gizzard, the rest of us got 6 piece BBQ wings. FIRE!!! The okra was her favorite and my son, who is very picky, LOVED the BBQ sauce. Very good, amazing staff and decent prices. Definitely recommend and will be back!
