This is my family's first time patronizing with this restaurant. The atmosphere was off the chain with so many smiles, so friendly and knowledgeable. Sheila and Char are the Best!!! We're visiting from Arkansas and they treated us like family. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Indoor Picnic Friendly Fried Fish, Wing & Beignet New Orleansesque Parlour. Mmmmm. Crispy, spicy as in flavourful, wings with sauce choices. I like mine plain with pickles. The tartest tounge smackin pickles btw. Yum. Battered Crispy fries with dipping sauce. My crew preferred bbq & ranch. Crispy thin breaded fried Catfish fillets. Very Crispy chewy gizzards. Coleslaw was average but better than fast food. Excellent Parmesan Chicken sandwich. If you are Wing Crazy & can afford to treat it up... Get double order because they're smaller but we love them that way (in the old days that style was called Knottsberry Farm Style) packed with twice the flavor of normal wings!! ????✨ and drumroll... Those powdered sugar covered Beignets with Carmel and Chocolate! Hot. Fluffy. Layered like in France!!! C'mon. When they come out eat them right away and go back to your other food. It is a bit spendy once you add drinks and desserts and additional items... But practically everywhere is like that. It's reasonable for a combo & drink. Erica is a 10/10 star employee there! If she's not the owner (i didn't ask) she should be, because she answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions! Love people who know their food!!! Place was CLEAN at 4 to 6 when we hung out. Maybe invest in some of those see thru dark blinds as the sun drowns out some chairs/ booths. We had a Great time! 4 ADULT guests eating A LOT for $100 with soda / tea refills! Add tip well deserved! Still took home some. Enjoy! Going back to try more whole catfish, carp, other sides etc... for fun. But getting wings anyway. Won't leave without those.Parking: SE of 96th & Lst. Entrance East on 96th. Traffic is bad here, so if you can't get in the 1st driveway, there is a second driveway. Be careful of confused drivers finding spaces in diagonal lot. We were able to park right in front of the business. Handicapped accessible.

Awesome!! Flat out awesome! I love independently owned restaurants! There's care and love put into every dish and that's what you will find here. You order your food at a counter and then seat yourself. The Restaurant is inviting, brick walls and decorated in a classic way! Lots of fried options as you can imagine. I wanted to try as much of the menu as possible but opted for the catfish basket. The breading was crispy and the catfish was tender and perfectly cooked. Of course we also had the fried okra which was a nice side that we often don't get to order most other places! Bigway is winning in a Big Way!!

We wanted something new and we came across this place. Biggest attraction was the fried okra for my MIL. She was a bit worried because if not cooked right cane be slimy. She got those and gizzard, the rest of us got 6 piece BBQ wings. FIRE!!! The okra was her favorite and my son, who is very picky, LOVED the BBQ sauce. Very good, amazing staff and decent prices. Definitely recommend and will be back!

I don't rate places very often..but this place definitely deserves a 5/5..I ate here for the first time yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it..Food was awesome..the fish was flaky and cooked to perfection..fries are up to par..the wings were also fantastic..not as good as mine but I'm bias when it comes to my personal cooking..lol..over all..no complaints whatsoever..I go to lunch in about 15min..Guess where I'm going..

I loved the catfish. It was amazing and crispy. Especially with their hot sauce. It be amazing if they made their own tartar sauce and hot sauce in house. But still good. The wings, I got buffalo, were tasty but so small. I prefer bigger wings, and these were the width of my index finger. Not that big at all but the flavor said them. The fries were good seasoned good would be well if it had more salt but I really liked the food. My dad’s coleslaw wa son point tho.
