Had the Patty Melt, not bad, Back in the late 90s I did dishes and cooked here, the original owner was a lady, her name was Billy J, that's where the name came from, it was called Billy J's Cafe.
Pretty good breakfast spot. I’ve been to what feels like all of them in the Omaha Metro, and the bar has been set pretty high. It’s solid and I understand why the locals come, but it’s kinda lackluster compared to others in town. We ordered the cinnamon French Toast and an omelette with three meats. The omelette was supposed to have an extra egg, a total of four, but was still really thin. That made me think they forgot the extra egg we were charged for. Outside of that...
So glad we live so close to this gem of a breakfast place! Definitely recommend and deemed our new breakfast go to place for me and my hubby! They take cash/check only just warning, but have a convenient atm in the establishment if you forget or aren't prepared.
