I was here with my boyfriend a few weeks back on a Wednesday afternoon. There was only one lady there by herself and the first thing she told us to do was scan the QR code on the sheet taped to the counter. Only thing is, they had these words covering it up so neither my phone nor my boyfriend’s phone could read the code. So then, the lady tried taking our orders anyways which took around 10 minutes or so, just for her to ring everything up. (And she didn’t seem to understand English too well.)
By the time she finished, there was a line of customers growing behind us. Right before she told us the total, I mentioned that I have a $20 digital gift card I wanted to use and showed it to her. She then seemed to panick and start pressing buttons on her screen.
After a while, she pulled out her phone and called her manager. I’m assuming she was asking her how to scan my digital coupon but I don’t know what all was said, as they were conversing in Spanish. As all this was going on, one customer in line got tired of waiting and walked out. I seriously wanted to go with him.
After a while, she hung up the phone and just stood there unsure of what to say or do. At that point, I was so irritated I told my boyfriend I didn’t wanna be there anymore so he told her to cancel our order and we left. We were still in the mood for Mexican food, so we went over to Abelardo’s for lunch instead.
This whole entire experience was super disappointing and I don’t feel this restaurant should have the high rating that it has. My boyfriend is from out of town, so I was looking forward to eating there with him and I was so excited to finally use my gift card I received from my job. Bomb Taco needs to hire better staff and maybe not leave someone by herself that clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing. Never again.

Bomb Taco blew us away! Tasty food and great service! We had the barbacoa beef, carnitas and shrimp tacos and they were all perfection!! Tender and delicious! The charred buffalo wings are amazing too! Keep up the great work! We will be back soon!

We eat at Bomb Taco quite often. It's near our home and the food is usually good for the price, especially during happy hour. Today the food was awesome - I got four beef street tacos and my partner got birria tacos. The service was great and we were greeted promptly when we got there. I'm not sure of his name, but he could probably be a football player, he had a large frame! Anyways, he was a nice guy and we appreciated his customer service! I can't even believe you have $2 domestic bottles during happy hour but it's steal! We love Bomb Taco and we'll keep coming back!

I went to Bontaco today and absolutely loved it! The service was excellent — everyone was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The place has a great vibe, very clean and welcoming. Definitely coming back! 🌮🔥
