I recently dined at Burdock + Bitters after a long day of traveling, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a rollercoaster. Let me break it down:Food Availability: Upon arriving, I discovered that several menu items were unavailable. There were no chicken wings or steak fries, and the ribs were “all frozen” and couldn’t be prepared. It’s disappointing when a restaurant can’t deliver on its menu promises. While I understand that busy weekends can strain supplies, proper planning and inventory management are crucial. The management team should address this issue promptly.Communication Breakdown: What frustrated me further was the lack of communication. I only found out about the unavailable items after attempting to order them. Imagine my disappointment when the server informed me that my desired dishes weren’t an option. Clear communication between the kitchen and servers could have prevented this awkward situation. It’s essential for staff to know what’s available before guests place their orders.Bright Spots: Morgan & Cammy!!! Despite the challenges, two shining stars emerged: Morgan and Cammy. These servers/bartenders went above and beyond to ensure I found something to eat. Their attentiveness and problem-solving skills saved the day. Kudos to them for their outstanding service!Managerial Oversight: Unfortunately, the manager missed an opportunity to address the issues. A quick visit to my table could have turned things around. Instead, the situation was ignored. Hotel management should reconsider their choice of leadership for this restaurant. Service failures need prompt attention. In summary, while the food availability and communication left much to be desired, Morgan and Cammy’s exceptional service salvaged the evening. I hope Burdock + Bitters takes steps to improve and provide a more consistent dining experience for all guests.

Honestly. We've ended up here a couple times by chance bc it's across from CHI arena. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are wonderful, and even this last time there weren't too many folks so we just kept yoinking chairs for our group and they were totally chill. Will def make this our pre event spot going forward. Also, they have a couple n/a options and that was really nice!

Just by chance we stopped by here to have a drink before going to the World Series and had a great time. The Bartender, Michael took awesome care of us and the drinks were spot on. Thanks for the hospitality brother!

This is in the Marriott hotel. it's an okay space. Dark wood bar, decent sized tables (6, I think). I ordered a long island iced tea, and while it wasn't bad, I don't think it has all the liquors in it. It's on the first floor, so you get the super high ceilings and windows of the hotel as part of the atmosphere.
Great service, proce and portions.
Great potato soup and good Ceasars salad. Service was very good as well

This was a very nice bar but prepare to pay heavily. A single bourbon and water and a glass of house cabernet was over $37 plus tip.
I kept going back for more. I tried a little bit of everything and it was ALL delicious. The Rueben sandwich did not disappoint, the salad was a perfect balance of flavor & I never thought I’d love hummus so much. The proof is in the pictures
Yes a special hotel bar and great staff.

I came here on Monday off the street as there were good reviews for an afternoon cocktail. I ordered a classic cocktail at the bar and drank it while writing some postcards. The daytime bartender was a little inexperienced but the bartender manager was very friendly and made up for it. My one star off was $20 for a cocktail with the tip is very expensive for Boston let alone day time bar in Omaha. I would go back but only on a special occasion or if I was staying in the hotel.
