Trista and Katie are phenomenal bartenders. Their knowledge of drinks are second to none. They helped me find the perfect flavor for my palette from their multitude of whiskeys to make the perfect smoked old fashioned for me. I highly recommend this bar just for the excellent staff, due to their unmatched knowledge and welcoming personalities!

Excellent spot. I was there with a 2-day conference, which was in the 2nd floor ballroom at Farnam Hotel. We had a dinner for 150 people. Excellent food and great service was really appreciated.

Specifically, Brian, Trista, Jana and Lily took AMAZING care of a demanding crowd. Their friendliness and customer service were top-notch.

I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is top notch and the service that Katie provided was OUTSTANDING. Nevertheless, for the price of everything, I expected more from the food and beverage. Atmosphere, location and service are diminished by average food and beverage.

Catalyst is located within a complex of homes, shops and other breweries and restaurants. We sat at the bar and enjoyed their IPA and Arnold Palmer and some super spicy fish tacos and BLT wrap. Tots with honey siracha were yummy. Great place to meet friends, family, business associates.

Luxurious, modern, exclusive, and noir atmosphere. Solid menu with their own upscale version of classic cocktails. They offered a few food options to snack on as well. They also have a very large selection of spirits and glassware so any cocktail you need can be made. Our Bartender, Helen, was very friendly and knowledgeable, made us feel very welcomed.

The interior is pretty, but the cocktails were disappointing. $26 for 2 cocktails that had so much crushed ice that they were completely watered down. Worst cocktail so far this year, hands down. We won't be back.

We only had 1 drink at this beautiful bar in the Farnam. The atmosphere was great!! Wish we would have made time for their little patio space. Drinks were very well done. Great customer service.

Might be my favorite bar in downtown!! Jasmin Kent is one of the best servers ever!!

DO NOT COME HERE. It's a nice looking bar but that doesn't compensate for poor service and extreme prices. My wife and I were staying at the Farnam Hotel connected to the bar and decided to stop by for a couple of drinks. When we arrived there were 4 people at the bar and 4 people in a booth. We sat at two chairs and waited...and waited as the 2 bartenders just stood behind the bar doing nothing. The place was not busy so not sure why there was no service for us. 2 people left the bar so we decided to go sit up at the bar in hopes of getting a drink. I ordered a 2 oz pour of Michters bourbon neat; 4 oz pour of Rabbit Hole Bourbon neat; and my wife had 2 house cabernets. The 4 drinks cost us $94 not including tip. We are from Omaha and are well traveled; this is an insane price anywhere. The Michters cost $16 and the Rabbit Hole cost $40. These are not high end bourbons. You can buy a bottle of each for $45. To round it off my wife's 2 house cabs cost $38. Once again we could have bought an entire wine bottle for that much. The bartenders were not attentive, especially Jordanne, and we had to flag them down between our 2 rounds of drinks. There are way better cocktails bars and service within walking distance that will charge you appropriate prices. Avoid this place and go to Wicked Rabbit, Wilson & Washburn, or The Berry & Rye. We will never come to this place again and we recommend you do the same.

After dinner at the Dynamite restaurant on the same property, we weren't quite readyto leave so we went into the hotel outdoor lounge, the Catalyst, where we sat in one of the three cabanas. It was our first time there and we fell in love its relaxed vibes. It has three large cabanas and lots of outdoor seating with overhead strings of lights. It was quite windy but in the cabana we had just a gentle breeze and could watch television or just relax and visit. There is also an amazing outdoor fireplace. The space has beautiful style and you can order food and desserts and drinks brought right to your table. It truly capped off our great evening. We highly recommend this spot.

Gregory the bartender is a masterful mixologist- tell him what you love and he will create it. We visited this establishment while on a tripto Omaha. Beautiful ambience, the music sets the mood and allows for conversation. There is a lovely outdoor patio.
