Wow, its ambiance was so lovely to view interior. Top sirloin steak was excellently-grilled and very tasty along with soft baked potato including bacon, green onions, butter, and sour cream. Micro amber beer was so good to drink with much refreshing. The server was orderly and friendly to write notes with pen forth and back; the bartender was so nice; and the hostess was lovely and she tried to use sign language with us like thank-you and have-a-nice-day! The gentlemen’s washroom was tidy according to the standards. What a wonderful enjoyable experience!

I’ve been to Charleston’s many times over the years, and it somehow gets better every time I come back. I went to Charleston’s at 7:30 PM on a Thursday, and it was somewhat difficult to find parking. We were seated kindly and for an appetizer we ordered the dynamite shrimp. They were seasoned well with a flavorful sauce and were a great start to a wonderful meal. For an entrée, I ordered Walt’s champagne chicken salad, which I ordered almost every time I visit. The food took roughly 25 minutes from order to table, which is reasonable, considering how many people were there. The salad was incredible and easily the best salad I’ve ever had. They use a plethora of fruits and vegetables and a trifecta of other items on the salad. It comes with a croissant, which on its own is really good. I didn’t have the dessert this time but other times I’ve visited I’ve had the carrot cake and the coconut cream pie, which are both incredible. Charleston is a great place to go after church or anytime you’re looking for great food in Elkhorn.

Been a regular here for years now. I love this place for the consistently good food and service. It really is unmatched in a city full of restaurants that can struggle with quality of service and food.
That being said, I do miss the vibes and style of the old building. It was moody, romantic and cozy. The new building feels very bland. Standard issue new restaurant energy. That won’t stop me from coming back or recommending this place to people needing a restaurant.

It now feels like an upscale IHOP. Why move if you downgrade you atmosphere? I was extremely disappointed. Service was great, though when the GM just walks up and takes my credit card and check not saying anything. I was like Who just took my card? Not sure I will ever go back there again. To many other great options in Omaha.

The newer location has a good atmosphere and our service was excellent! We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy. The food was good - nothing exceptional, but consistent and enjoyable. We appreciated the simple menu as many restaurants are trying too hard by offering too much. Overall, we’d return to enjoy something that simply feels reasonable and comfortable.
