Way overpriced for bland food, mediocre service. Four different entrees, all were below average. Salad and entrees arrived at almost the same to time.

Amazing food. Went in there with a big annoying group and they did a great job dealing with us. 10/10.

Ordered the Grouper Creole and it is fantastic. Took picture after I started to dig in as the presentation was nice as well! Highly recommend it!
We just moved to the area and wanted to try some place for a nicer dinner out. We ordered the artichoke dip for an appetizer which was phenomenal. My boyfriend had 2 types of shrimp that he referred to as “just ok”. I got a Ribeye, twice baked potato, and the house salad. The salad was good but the $40 ribeye was the worst steak I’ve ever had in my life. Bland with no flavor and had weird coloring. I asked for medium rare but there was hardly a speck of pink in the steak. I took two bites and could barely swallow it. The twice baked potato recall was a bowl of loaded mashed potatoes that was dry, stale and an old taste to it like it had been there for 4-5 days. We waited almost 45 minutes for our entrees even though the place hardly had anyone seated and clearly the preparation for the food took no effort.
The waitress was really nice and understanding about my food being inedible though and offered to discount it or bring me something else. I ordered the blackened Alfredo to go and it came out much faster and she gave us a free cheesecake desert for an apology. My Alfredo was “ok” but the frozen zatarans version for 4.99 at Walmart is much better. The desert tasted like it was even older than the potato with no taste besides old and stale.
It’s so sad because the atmosphere is wonderful and by the looks of these reviews multiple people have had the exact same experience with the potato and ribeye as us. They need to revamp the menu or sell the spot to someone who can actually cook.

Friendly staff and great Martini’s. I think people get sticker shock seeing the martini price but you get the shaker which pours pretty much two martini’s and they are very strong. You get your money’s worth. I have been going to Charlie’s since it opened and the new owner has bought it back to its glory days. Make a dinner out of their amazing appetizers or order a traditional Charlie’s lunch or dinner. Trust me you can’t go wrong here. If you have an issue they will fix it.

The quality of their food has gone significantly down hill. Ordered King Crab legs. They were tough and chewy and they served them with a plastic appetizer fork. Also ordered a steak. The steak came out rare, unseasoned and 1/3 of it was gristle. Used to be my favorite spot. Won’t be returning. You can’t charge top dollar for bad food.
Had dined here in the past when in town to visit family and the experience was always very good. This dinner was not typical as the service was indifferent and food average at best. Restaurant was pretty empty inside and outside patio was 3/4 full- not a great indicator at 7 pm a Friday. Appears that the restaurant has lost focus on service and the customer has noticed. Too bad as the restaurant was a good place to share with family in the past.

It was a beautiful evening with my friends out by the lake. My scallops were delicious. Good service!
Our server was knowledgeable in my need for gluten free, and overall pretty awesome! I enjoyed her service. The 15 month old with us loved her meal! Food was good, but may have been more expensive than I thought the flavor was worth BUT I was told all of my foods preparations were handled very carefully! I had grilled salmon, house salad, and steamed broccoli.

My opinion, Charlie's has gone downhill since the last time I had dinner there. For starters, the menus were filthy covered in food and grime. The inside of the restaurant is dark and very dated, thankfully we sat outside by the lake. The silverware brought me back to eating in a high school cafeteria. The waitresses were all very young, nice, but not polished whatsoever. The shrimp cocktail was soggy and my filet was over seared, medium rare in the middle, not juicy, and tasted gamey like it had been sitting out too long. This place needs a massive makeover!
