I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was genuinely upsetting. While we were trying to eat, we noticed multiple roaches near the wall and one even ran across the floor close to our table. It completely killed our appetite and made us question the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and food handling.

Beyond that, the restaurant just felt unkempt—sticky tables, an odd smell, and a general lack of care. The staff were polite enough, but no one seemed surprised or concerned when we mentioned what we saw. For a place that serves food, basic sanitation should be non-negotiable, and this was far below any acceptable standard.

I ended up leaving without finishing my meal because I didn’t feel safe eating there. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the cleanliness issues immediately, but I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone in its current condition.

This was my family’s second visit to this authentic Guatemalan restaurant in the heart of South Omaha. We can’t get over how delicious the tacos, fajitas, garnachas and horchata are. Excellent food, service and environment!

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was something special. The environment is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like home. Every detail is cared for, and it’s clear that the team here takes great pride in what they do.

What makes this place stand out the most is the incredible team. Each person I’ve interacted with has gone above and beyond to be helpful, kind, and attentive. They are not only professional but also genuinely compassionate, which makes all the difference. You can feel the positive energy and see how much they care about the people they serve.

It’s rare to find a place that combines excellence, comfort, and outstanding service all in one, but this team delivers it every day. They make everything run smoothly and still take time to connect on a personal level. That kind of dedication is priceless.

If you’re looking for a place where the atmosphere is amazing and the team truly shines, this is it. I can’t say enough great things—five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

The food is fine here, but I found it needed a fair amount of salsa on some of the items to add flavor. The chips and salsa were great and the staff was very attentive to our needs and we had a huge group. I'll def come back the next time I'm on South 24th.
