Placed an order online only to arrive and find a sign on the door that says closing

We ordered food tonight online they charge the credit card, and when my husband got to the store, it was boarded up. Stop ordering from them ASAP.

Really missed the mark today, with food quality falling far below an average buffet. The Lo Mein was a gummy, flavorless, glob of noodles. Highly reminiscent of reheated HyVee lo mein in both the type of noodles and the sticky consistency. Coincidence that they are in the same building? The black pepper chicken is not what I expected, not lightly coated and fried, just typical sliced chicken pieces cooked and tossed in a brown pepper sauce. While not amazing, it was at least hot and edible, which is appreciated for a $20 dollar carryout entree.

I ordered chow mein and sweet and soup pork. Neither was anything like what i have had before. The sweet/sour pork was just chunks of pork, battered and fried. The sweet sour sauce was watery and not sweet. Usually i have gotten peppers, pineapple, onions and more as part if the meal. The chow mein had a watery consistency, no chow mein noodles as i have had before, vegetables were mushy and overcooked. None of what i ordered was like what i have had before other places. Very disappointed

Update 2023...I think of this place often. The food is genuinely authentic, while that does not say a lot but what does is the family atmosphere. The daughters that I have seen grow up over the last 10 years. I highly recommend going in and sitting at a table to eat.Family run restaurant that is friendly and FAST. I cannot begin to say enough how much of a hidden gem this place is. Good food for a great price and the owners kids that work the front have always been very helpful and send you off with a great "Have a nice day" that I always look forward to. I highly recommend the place....

My wife is from the east coast and knows good Chinese. This is the only spot in west Omaha that really impressed her. My meal was also fabulous. I asked for them to make my dish extra spicy and the cook did amazing at a sufficient level of heat for my more extreme palet. All ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and the flavors were all present. Priced very well for the quality, very happy to find a place that doesn't require us to drive across town for good Chinese fare.

I've eaten here before and thought it was pretty decent (albeit average), but now that the place is takeout only I am completely uninterested in eating here. I realize that for a lot of people that takeout is how they usually consume their Chinese-American food (even pre-COVID19). Not me. I prefer to sit down and eat it there where it's made - hot and fresh. Takeout is just subpar and I mostly find it sad that so many people think the takeout version of those entrées is what they're supposed to taste like. Crunchy and crispy foods turn to mush as they slowly steam themselves in takeout containers, heterogenous flavors in entrées homogenize, food temps fall, and when you open the container you're usually looking at a mess. Normalize NOT getting takeout. You're really not saving yourself much time or hassle and you're getting an inferior dining experience.

I guess I’ll never find Chinese food as great as Chicago’s. I asked if they had Cantonese Fried Noodles, they said yes and I got your basic Lo Mein and it wasn’t even very good. I also ordered Mongolian Beef. It bore no resemblance to the Mongolian Beef I know, other than it contained beef. Egg roll was super greasy and they did not include hot mustard. Being new to Omaha, I am on a quest to find good Chinese food.

Was our favorite Chinese food place, but might have to find something new definitely going down hill. Foods good, quantity of food leaves a lot to be desired now and the fried rice that comes with the food is subpar at best. It was great while it last!

Delightful gem. First time I stopped in was a few days before Christmas to ask if they would be open on Christmas Day, as I enjoy Chinese food then. Sadly, they were not. I didn't return for quite some time until a recent visit. The conversion of the restaurant to takeout only makes no difference to me as about 95% of my Chinese meals are takeout anyway. Ordered Hunan Beef and egg rolls. Both were delicious. The egg rolls might be the best in town, crisp, fresh taste. Hunan Beef was flavorful, spicy but not too. Ordered online from Hy-Vee next door while I shopped, and it was ready when I got there. Smooth and easy. Will return.

Gave it 2 stars since the deal for the lunch special is pretty good. However, they had 0 other customers or orders on the counter when I went in and they still messed up my order. Gave me beef when I don’t eat beef. All you had to do was read the ticket and pick the right meat. Wont be going here again. Even after picking out the meat, the rest of the food was mediocre Chinese at best

Chicken was EXTREMELY disappointing. It was fatty and very low quality.. To the point where it isn't edible. However, the rangoons were very good. I'd go back for the rangoons but I'd never eat that chicken again.

For just 9 dollars, you can get a high quality entree with an egg roll and soup, which is pretty crazy. They give you so much for your money that I would even consider it to be my favorite chinese fast-food resteraunt. I would recogmend to anyone looking for tasty chinese food that fits your budget, as long as you aren't ordering for a lot of people.
