Despite excellent service, I'm afraid I can't say this establishment was much better than average. Our server Sara was so kind and attentive, and everyone enjoyed their cocktails, which came quickly. The food, however, was a bit disappointing. The shrimp in my pasta dish were overcooked, the sauce was lacking in depth, but the pasta was nicely cooked. My colleagues all commented that their dishes were equally "meh"- not inedible, but not worth the trip out....
Our Favorite Spot in Omaha Civo Vino has become our absolute favorite restaurant in Omaha, and a big part of that is thanks to Lex, our bartender/server. She is truly the best! She remembers our drinks and our order every single time, and her fantastic conversation and perfectly crafted drinks make every visit feel special. This is a great restaurant, romantic atmosphere. I love their food, service was attentive without being overbearing. You can hear yourself and others at your table. Perfect for special occassions. For starter, our fav was the octopus. Our fav entree was the bolognese. But they have so many great choices. Recommend you eat family style to try different dishes, although not required.
