Decided to visit today for a meal that is usually pretty decent. People sitting eating and getting served wile their is an employee loudly sweeping in the dining area. It was loud and annoying the people dinning visibly getting annoyed. It was loud. We get up and go to the next Room. Order our food. It comes out and it was barely hot. Some was cold. It looked like leftovers that had sat in my fridge for a few days. already annoyed now the person starts sweeping again. It’s loud and completely RUDE!!! I couldn’t take it anymore. I asked for boxes and to take my food home. I don’t know if I’ll eat it. I’d rather stop at a taco food truck I’d get better service and way better food. This place should be ashamed. I’m upset I spent even a dime here. Read the room. Why would you drag a dustpan on floor being ridiculously loud for 10 15 minutes? I never write reviews I’m pretty relaxed person I’m really upset even a penny was paid for the horrible meal and absolute awful environment. Our waiter was a nice kid. I feel bad he works at this place that serves people cold 3 day old food. Waist of money. $35 for a bad experience. I will never come back here. I got chicken and dumplings. It was awful tater Casserole cold. Mac and cheese cold. Absolutely Awful. I haven’t had this bad of experience at a restaurant in two decades
Was told 10 to 15 minutes wait time. After 45 minutes my name was finally called. Had the stack of pancakes. They were delicious but on the small side. The pancakes that came as a side dish for my daughter were much bigger than the ones I got. This happens in a lot of places I notice.
Parking: The sitting areas outside need to be cleaned. The dirt and dust were pretty thick anywhere no one had sat yet.

The food used to be good, now it's aweful. Was sold some greens that was awfully bland, no seasoning nor meat. I did bring it to the management he appeared not concerned his words were " they were not prepared properly". Will have to patronize Council Bluffs from now moving forward. The manager is a reflection of the company.

Was disappointed with Cracker Barrel. The worst part was the service. After we got seated it took our waiter, Sandra, 20 min to acknowledge us. When she came over she took our order and asked if we wanted anything to drink. It took another 15 min to bring us a glass of water and ice tea. Our food took from the time she took our order 25 min and when it came it was luke warm. She handed us our receipt and never asked if we wanted dessert. We observed her and she didn't have that many tables to tend to, but she was a talker and spent lots of time chatting with the people at her tables. It was my husband's birthday and thought it would have been nice for some good comfort food. I really didn't want to tip her!
Parking: Lots of parking spaces along with plenty of handicap spaces.

Staff was incredibly lazy, we weren’t given menus for 10 minutes after we were seated, then we had to wait another 15 to order our drinks and food and the food took almost 45 minutes to come out and we didn’t even get silverware until ANOTHER 15 MINUTES AFTER WE GOT OUR FOOD!! The food was completely undercooked, the meat was old and cold, the pancakes were burnt on the outside but completely liquid on the inside, the eggs were completely overcooked. Our waitress was insanely lazy never checking in on us to see if our food was fine and even when we asked about it she just told us “tough luck”. Don’t go here, EVER.

I have ordered meals countless times from this location, but never have I been so thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the food that I received. It was really just sad and pathetic that what you gave my family passed the muster for your organization. The standards just haven't been met. Thoroughly disappointed.

The best part of the visit was the country store. The quality of food and service has been going down every time we eat here. We used to eat here almost weekly but the service was so bad we stopped for several months. We gave it another try and again quality and service was awful. We were seated fairly quickly but waited well over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Then we made our food and drink order which took another 5 minutes to get our drinks. When the food came out it was barely warm asked for them to just heat it up in the microwave instead they remade both plates which took even more time. They dont seat you with silverware so you have to ask for that. One thing I will say is our server was walking around carrying a baby and even delivered our ticket with the baby. Maybe pay more attention to your tables instead of carrying a baby around. There were 3 managers on at the time of the visit, maybe they should help the servers so you won't get bad reviews or instead of just looking at the guests and servers visit the tables that would go a long way especially with reviews. It seemed like they were not under staffed their were plenty of servers just ran as a cluster f**k which again falls on the managers. My husband and myself have both worked as managers in the food and hospitality business for years this by far is not ran very well. I know it is hard to find people who want to work but you have to keep trying eventually you will have a good staff. Just a suggestion is give your servers fewer tables and help them to succeed instead of setting them up to fail. I hope this helps people in the business and people wanting to visit. We manage a hotel in the area but will never recommend this to our guest's. We will more than likely not be back one being the family owned Mexican restauant 3 buildings up is way better plus you have McDonald's and Jax as well there are plenty of different choices in Gretna/Omaha to eat at. My suggestion is go someplace else

Salad croutons were stale, the bacon bits were very unappealing gross looking , chicken fried steak cold w/ gravy cold. Fried apples were good & hot and green beans great. Service excellent. They remade the steak & gravy and potatoes. The mgr gave us 1/2 off we waited 25 minutes for them to remake. Ridiculous u come to eat and relax and conversation. This is the 3rd time in 2 months the food at cracker food has disappointed me. I guess I won’t return.

The service was not the best. We had to ask several times for items. They did not have what I wanted to order (fried chicken) which was disappointing. We will not stop at the Omaha, NE restaurant again.
Got food poisoning from the steak and shrimp. The server and service was good but there was a little wait.

The food and service was great. I LOVE the gift shop at Cracker Barrell. I am upset at the 60 day return policy. I live 2 hours north of Omaha and I do not get to Omaha a lot. The clothes I had purchased there did not fit well and I was unable to return the items in the 60 day time frame. The clothes were in the bag with the receipt for about 80 days and I was unable to return it and get my money back. I could get last price of the items and then in store credit. I live 2 hours away for the nearest Cracker Barrell. Definitely need to update the return policy.

The food is the reason for this low score. The “mashed” potatoes were not mashed, 3 out of 6 of the chicken tenders were burnt black (not even sure how that happens), the hash brown casserole was dry and cold, and the normally amazing chocolate cake was dry. We talked to our server about the potatoes after she came back to check on us and she said she would let the kitchen know. When she came back again and we were further into the meal, she got the manager. I have to say, he made it right, which we appreciated. He explained they were trying a new way to make their mashed potatoes. For the tenders, he said they must have been next to something in the fry basket. We will give them another try, but it is just disappointing. Cracker Barrel is usually our go to spot.

Wait 6 mins to be greeted while 2 cashiers and a server looked at their phone at the register. Food and dinner service was good. Cashier asked us to step to the next Cashier, she was getting ready too use the restroom. The 2nd Cashier was very distracted. After placing the items we had chosen from the store she proceed to ask if we wanted more. After declining 3 times. Then she picked up a random bag of candy and started reading the package instead of checking us out. She realized hadn't finished and said oh sorry and sat it down. She stopped again to greet someone coming in for a door dash and stopped again to start helping him.
