A friend and I stayed at the hotel across the street and wanted some late night apps and drinks. We loved the drinks, the bartender put his own spin on drinks based on our tastes. The food came out quickly and was delicious, portions were great to share. My dad ended up meeting up and also helped us eat the apps.
My only complaint or even observation was the bartender was great but the doorman just seemed to “bark” orders at the bartender. It was weird. Other than that our experience was 10/10.

Great Reuben - reportedly the original recipe. Delicious sliced and cubed corned beef, spiced sauerkraut, rich marble rye, not too much dressing, etc. The Reuben egg rolls were of course silly, but not too bad. as far as the crescent moon goes, a divey affair. Great experience for an Omaha first timer like myself. I don’t drink but they had a ton of craft and imported beer options. Not to mention a selection of 3 beers and 2 mocktails

I had an event here in the event space, and it was amazing! The staff was incredibly kind, making us feel prioritized and respected. I can't thank Chris and his employees enough! I would highly recommend having an event here and getting the dips as well (they were amazing!)

I went there Sept 21st night. The lady was extremely rude. She didn’t want to answer any simple question. I asked what sizes of beer do you guys have? And she looked at me in a mean way and said it’s on the menu. She brought the fries EXTREMLY SALTY. I couldn’t even eat. When I was paying the check, she chose her own tip on the screen in front of me (which was the highest 25%). I adjusted it. There is no way I’ll go back there again

A friend and I thought we would try this place even with the mixed reviews. I have to say we will not be returning. The service was horrible, we waited over 30 minutes after she took our drink and appetizer order, just to order food and thatwas only because she brought the appetizer. Never asked if we needed another drink, nor checked on us after she brought us our food. We ordered the rueben which my friend said was ok it tasted pickly. I ordered the philly no onions and needless to say I was given a philly with only onions. Also ordered a cup of their baked potato soup, which looked like a cup of mashed potatoes. Then we had to finally go ask for our bill yo leave since our waitress decided she was going to hang out standing at the bar. The only good thing I can say is that the rueben egg rolls were good

The bartender was awful. My pickup order was 20 minutes late so I simply asked the bartender to check on the 2 sandwiches and 1 cup of soup and she told me to go back to the kitchen and check myself. Was the rudest experience in a bar I’ve ever had. I’m from St. Louis and we hang out in bars quite a bit and have never had a ruder experience. Around 7:45pm Sunday 8/31 for that helpless crew of staff working that shift.

Love Ruben sandwiches
In Omaha for the day
They claim to have an unforgettable Ruben
Thought I would try supposedly the best
Service was fine
Pub atmosphere
Now for the food
The bread was good
The corned beef was just tiny pieces
( and no slices) way more sauerkraut
Than meat. Sauce was lacking
Sauerkraut had a horseradish flavor
So overall not a good sandwich at all
Fries were fine
WHERE’S THE BEEF????

The food isn’t always the most consistent, but it’s a laid-back spot we keep coming back to every Thursday for the wings.
Cool spot and (sort of) home of the first Reuben sandwich

Best Reuben in Omaha for sure! Solid beer list and drink options make it a nice place to chill out and chat or watch a game too.

Horrible service. I entered the building and was greeted with, “What do you want?” by a skinny, roughly 110-lb, long-haired fellow wearing a black beanie. Rude guy. A different employee took my order but messed it up, bringing out the wrong sandwich. I ended up waiting a total of 30 minutes. The service was terrible, and the Reuben was mediocre. Go to Culver’s for a Reuben.
