Arepas shrimp ceviche is a must to try. Ambiance and vibe is great. Heads- up: reservations needed.

We have been here a number of times this year, and every time we have had the best service and wonderful food. My daughter and I are celiac, so the number of options on the menu is a huge bonus. Peruvian ceviche, patacones, queso empanadas, queso frito, and the chicken skewers were all hits for us this time (and my kids love the cheese pulls with the empanadas). Definitely recommend
I stumbled across this restaurant after a heavy day at work and needed to wind down. The atmosphere right as I walked in was very welcoming. I sat at the bar and I gave the bartender full control of my drink and my food. Drink was amazing and I had wonderful conversation with the bartender. And one of their other workers was off the clock and was sitting at the bar I had great conversation with them as well! Strongly recommend this place!!! I got a drink and two plates of food. It was $35 before tip. Will be recommending this place and returning back whenever I am in omaha

Excellent service. They were able to seat us 15 minutes early. All the food came out within 15 minutes and it is excellent! And very fair prices.
Good food and service.
This was our second visit to Cumbia and we were able to try new menu items compared to our first visit. A few of our favorites this time were the empanadas (carne and queso), carnitas bravas and the Duraznito cocktail. Service was great. There was a little bit of a draft coming in from the patio door but all-in-all we enjoyed our visit and would recommend to others.
I came solo before a show and had several plates there and took a couple to go because the food was so good. The grilled chicken skewers were fantastic! I sat at the bar and even tho they were busy, service was excellent! I enjoyed watching them make all their pretty drinks while having my meal

Great place for a fun anniversary dinner with great environment and welcoming staff. Prices weren't bad at all either. A new Omaha favorite!
The vibe of ths place is nice and staff are friendly. Food is tasty but the portion size is too small for the price. Moreover they wanted to charge me extra for the can of my dessert takeout. Overall, nice place to go on an occasion, maybe not often.

Cumbia punches above its weight – the food has more variety and flavor than you’d expect, and there’s always something great to try. The vibe is also a step above most spots in Omaha. It’s fun, relaxed, and great for hanging out with family/friends.

This place was amazing! From the moment you step in you receive the most warm welcome. The service was above 5 stars and the food and cocktails were fantastic. The vibe instantly transports you to some relaxed area in Latin America where the music makes you want to dance and the food keeps you there all night.
Tapas plates run about $10 each and won’t disappoint; there are plenty of options for all tastes/preferences. Cocktails are reasonably priced and not overly sweet like too many other places - a perfect mix of alcohol and accompaniments.
We were discussing our next visit to Cumbia before we even made it back to the car! Well worth multiple visits so you can try everything on the menu.

I live in Wisconsin and this is the 3rd time I've eaten at Cumbia in Omaha, NE. The food is incredible as are the drinks. We've had the same waitstaff each time we've been there and they make you feel very comfortable. I'm looking forward to going back again!
Nice. Convenient. Easy. Simple. Unique.
We'll be back!
Thank you, Dominic.
